    P I will tell of your name to my brothers;C in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.

    P For kingship belongs to the LORD,

    P All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship;

    C before him shall bow all who go down to the dust, even the one who could not keep

    himself alive.

    P Posterity shall serve him;

    C it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation;

    P they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn,

    C that he has done it.

    The reading of the Holy Gospel.

    P This is the Gospel of the Lord.

    Nicene Creed (8:15)

    C I believe in one God,

    the Father Almighty,

    maker of heaven and earth

    and of all things visible and invisible.

    And in one Lord Jesus Christ,

    the only-begotten Son of God,

    begotten of His Father before all worlds,

    God of God, Light of Light,

    very God of very God,

    begotten, not made,

    being of one substance with the Father,

    by whom all things were made;who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven

    and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary

    and was made man;

    and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate.

    He suffered and was buried.

    And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures

    and ascended into heaven

    and sits at the right hand of the Father.

    And He will come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead,whose kingdom will have no end.

    And I believe in the Holy Spirit,

    the Lord and giver of life,

    who proceeds from the Father and the Son,

    who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified,

    who spoke by the prophets.

    And I believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church,

    I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins,

    and I look for the resurrection of the deadand the life TTTT of the world to come. Amen

    Apostles' Creed (10:45)

    C I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

    maker of heaven and earth.

    And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,

    who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,born of the virgin Mary,

    suffered under Pontius Pilate,

    was crucified, died, and was buried.

    He descended into hell.

    The third day He rose again from the dead.

    He ascended into heaven

    and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.

    From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead

    I believe in the Holy Spirit,

    the holy Christian Church,

    the communion of saints,

    the forgiveness of sins,

    the resurrection of the body,

    and the life TTTT everlasting. Amen

    Thrivent BUILDS with Habitat for Humanity 2011

    Once again, the wonderful opportunity of building a new home and a new life for a deservingfamily is here! This is the third year in a row that our Thrivent chapter has collaborated withHabitat for Humanity and that our congregation has joined forces with other central ArkansasLutheran churches. Your help is needed by volunteering on the jobsite, pitching in financiallyand praying for the safety and timely completion of the project.

    As volunteers you can show up once, twice or even weekly if you have the time. Dont worrythat you dont have building skills, because there is a fantastic crew there to show and teach you.Volunteers are scheduled Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week, usually for half a day.

    The Lutheran community is responsible for $8,800 of the total cost for the build. Ourportion of this is $2,400. We are trying to make this goal by March 1 st. Please consider giving any amount is welcome.

    Once the final decision is made for the build site and family, there will be further bulletinannouncements as well as visual displays to show you what an awesome experience this is.

    Larry Crabill will be here on Sunday, January 30 th, to talk briefly about the ThriventBUILDS with Habitat for Humanity at the end of the 8:15 service and at the beginning of the10:45 service.

    Contact me for additional information and or if you can help. See me in person or call me onmy cell 681-8034.

    In Christs name I serve,

    Diane Roberts
