Revolutionary18-Megapixel CMOS Sensor

The EOS 60D possesses a powerul

CMOS sensor that has an eective

resolution o 18 million pixels. Measuring 22.3 mm

x 14.9 mm, this APS-C-sized sensor (1.6x lens crop

actor) captures everything rom the nest color

tandem with the DIGIC 4 image processor, the

unction removes any ”vignetting” caused by certain

Highlight Tone Priority

Highlight Tone Priority prevents images shot in very

bright light rom appearing washed out by expanding

its gradation range within highlighted areas. As a

result, the overall image is more pleasing to the eye

with color rendition appearing more lielike.

Metering Modes

The EOS 60D employs the use o a 63-zone dual layer metering sensor to give you

the perect exposure in any situation. An improved algorithm now analyzes AF

inormation to achieve better and more consistent image exposure. When that is
