The EOD 10 Helmet Camcorder allows technicians to capture High Definition video during live operations and training exercises. This can be used as evidence, assist forensic analysis and to review training exercises.

The primary advantage of the EOD 10 Helmet Camcorder is that it is integrated into the visor and carefully set to the optimal vertical viewing angle. This means it consistently and reliably focuses on the task at hand. This makes the video it captures far more useful than if it was focused directly forward or straight down, which can often be the case when a camera is affixed using Velcro™ or tape. It also has a wide field of view to include the surrounding area of operation.

The Camcorder is compatible with both the standard EOD Visor and the optional BA (Breathing Apparatus) Visor.

HD VIDEO CAPTURE

The Helmet Camcorder captures High Definition (HD) video at 720p and produces MP4 (MPEG4) video files for ease of viewing.

It includes a USB connector and microSD adapter for easy data transfer to any PC or Mac computer. The EOD Camcorder will record up to 2 hours of video in a constant loop of clear five minute segments.
