OurexperiencewiththeTAIEFfacilityreaffirmstheimportanceofhumanrelationsinachievingsustainabledevelopment.TAIEF’speer‐to‐peerexchangeshelpbuildthecapacitiesandtheglobalnetworksneededtoovercomeourenvironmental challenges.
Thisisanexcitingandinspiringeffort.Asourinternationalnetworksgrow, sodoesthepaceofinnovation.Capitalizingonthis,theprincipleofmutuallearningguidesTAIEFexchanges.ThevalidityofEU’sintegratedpolicyapproaches,andtheirfocusonrestoringecosystemhealtharewidelyrecognized.ThisinterestextendstotheEU’sknowledge‐basedframeworkfordevelopingenvironmentalpolicy,particularlyitsrelianceontransparentinformationflowsandtheengagementofallinterestedstakeholdersacrosstheEU.
AsthedemandforTAIEF’sservicescontinuestogrow,Iencourageallofourpartnerstotakeadvantageofthisopportunitytoenhanceourcollaboration in 2016.
