TankerHydro Cleansing Ltd own and operate a vast fleet of tankers. These range from ourvacuum units for small and domestic drainage issues, our jet vac and medium combination tankers for industrial and commercial use, all the way through to our supercombination units fitted with the latest liquid ring vacuum pump system.

As a company we have come a long way since the early days when our first tanker purchase was a basic vacuum tanker. As our level of service and customer base hasdeveloped, we have recognised the need to continuously invest in tanker technology. We are now extremely proud to share the benefits of our advancements with allof our customers.

• The PTO’s (power take off unit) used on our vehicles are made up of two sections and four outlets with incorporated clutches.• PTO’s are mounted on suitable silent blocks.• The insertion of the PTO is controlled from the driver’s cab.• The PTO combines functioning of the pumps, taking all power from the vehicle’s engine.

• The clutch of the vehicle is never stressed as the insertion and disconnection of the pump is carried out by operating on the clutches of the PTO.• All of our vehicles operate at lower revolutions and can still operate all of the equipment.• All Hydro Cleansing tankers are 400 / 500 bhp with Euro 4 & 5 specifications. These are used to lower all emissions and to allow us to meet the new LEZ regulations in the UK and Europe.

Jet Vac tankers combine; high pressure, high volume jetting with high powered vacuum capability.

Our Jet Vac units are capable of removing silt and debris from deep soakaways, culverts, wet wells, digesters, cesspits, septic tanks and Klargesters. Other services include; delivering water for soakaway testing and transferring liquids from one part of a site to another.

CombinationCombination tankers operate at a higher pressure and an increased volume of capacity compared to our Jet Vac units.

These Vehicles are capable of removing silt and debris from deep soakaways, culverts, wet wells, digesters, Klargesters, pump stations, lift shafts, interceptors and for the clearance of drilling waste.

Super Combination

S P E C I F I C A T I O NOur super combination tankers are the flagship vehicles of our fleet. They work at the highest pressures and have the most powerful vacuum capability. This ensures that they can easily remove large items such as household brick.

These units deal with specialist projects suchas cleaning out mainline sewers that look after entire districts. So far the use of thesevehicles have been limited to nothing. We arestill waiting to come across a scenario that these tanker’s cannot manage.

In terms of solid and liquid waste management, these units have a reverse cycle facility wherby materials can be taken in and then discharged into another tank. This is particularly useful as it means the tanker can keep working on site, rather than having to go and dispose of the load.

Hydro Cleansing’s Artic units have a 22250litre capacity. On previous tenders they havebeen involved with issues such as; soakaway testing, providing fresh water transfer and acting as a storage barrel on large construction sites.

Cess /

A septic tank provides a system for the collectionof solid waste products. This happens while the liquid elements are dispersed into the ground viaperforated pipes into the soil. This is also knownas a soakaway method.

A cesspit is a collection point for both solid andliquid waste. Essentially they are the same thing.Both are watertight enclosures that are usuallymade up of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) or concrete.

The difference between the two is that a cesspitrequires emptiying far more frequently than a septic tank. However as it doesn’t use a soakawaymethod to disperse liquid it is much easier to installand takes up less space.

Hydro Cleansing Ltd recommend that both septictanks and cesspits are emptied on a 6 monthly basisto avoid overflow and saturation of the soakaways.This of course depends on the level of usage, either way we can offer contracts or schedules for emptyingtailored to your individual needs.

Interceptor

The build up of oil, silt, debris and other miscellaneous contaminants within an interceptor increases the risk of forecourt or driveway flooding. This alongwith the increased risk of hydrocarbons contaminating the sewerage system or watercourse.

To prevent overflow and contamination of drainagesystems the interceptor needs to be maintained ona regular basis. We recommend 6 monthly servicingfor standard installations.

All of our engineers are trained to undertakeall related tasks to the highest standard, thisalso includes working at height and / or in confined spaces.

Hydro Cleansing Ltd only use fully licensed disposal facilities ensuring your duty of careobligations are always met. Consignment notes for movement of special waste(as defined in the ‘Special WasteRegualtions’ 1996) can also be arranged.

We can provide a CCTV survey of drainagesystems in the form of a colour video that will show the blockage and where renovationor remedial works are required. This can becarried out on drains and for sewers ranging from 225mm to 1200mm in length.

A written report and a copy of the video will be issued upon request after the survey is completed. Although some projects are largerthan others, we will provide the same level of service to all customers irrespective of scale.

Pump Station

Pump stations exist where waste from a buildingcannot reach a main sewer by gravity alone. Asa result, the waste is directed to a central point,a pumping station or a wet well. The station isgenerally lower than the sewer system, thus meaning a pump is required to direct the waste uptowards the main sewer.

Hydro Cleansing Ltd provide a complete designservice including; the supply and specification ofthe pipework, power cabling, switch gear andtelemetry equipment.

Although many projects are large, we give equalattention to smaller scale residential or any othercommercial pump station projects that require ourattention. All aspects of installation are handled by a very competent team of engineers whom have a proven track record of working with all aspects ofpump station cleaning, maintenance and installation,

Drilling waste, drilling Mud and drillingfluids are all used or produced in largescale operations on major building sites.

Drilling mud, also known as drilling fluidis used for scenarios such as bore holedrilling, piling and to remove cuttings from excavations.

S P E C I F I C A T I O NRoad-going sweepers are widely used for keeping public roads, runways and other access areas clean.They are also used to compact high volumes of dust.

Road Sweepers use water as a means of capturing dirt and dust, and are often used to clean any area usedconstantly by vehicles. As a result the waste that is produced is often very difficult to dispose of.

Sweeper waste can contain: (amongst other things)

water, dirt, foliage, oil, litter hydrocarbons and often mass amounts of runway deicing chemicals.

The Low Emission Zone (LEZ) has beenintroduced by the mayor of London to help improve air quality in the Greater London area. As of the 4th of February2008 this scheme was introduced withinthe city. Due to the introduction of the LEZ, as a company we have now updated our entire fleet of tankers toensure they now meet the Euro 5 requirements, allowing us to work freely and without interruption across the capital
