• IT IS TO QUANTIFY THE CONTAMINATION,DETERMINING THE DIMENSIONS OF THE AFFECTEDAREAS AND VOLUMES, TYPES AND CONCENTRATIONOF CONTAMINANTS. IN THE SAME WAY IT MUST BEDETERMINED THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THECONTAMINATION PLUMES, THEIER LIMITS ANDPROPAGATION RATES.

• THE CONCEPTUAL MODEL 2, RESULTING FROM THECONFIRMATORY INVESTIGATION IS USED AS BASIS FOR ITSDEVELOPMENT.
