Topic: Environmental protectionAims: practice the words on the topic; develop reading, writing, listening , speaking skills; revise the use of the modal verb must and practice the pupils in using it; make the pupils think about the importance of environmental problems and do something to protect the nature; teach the pupils to be responsible for our life.Equipment: multi-media presentation with videos, grammar table, extra materials. PROCEDURE

I. Greeting and Warm-upGood morning, students! I’m glad to see all of you at the lesson! I hope you’re fine and ready to take an active part in the conversation today.So, what is the date today? What is the weather like?

Do you like it? Why? Do you like quest? Let’s guess the topic of our lesson. First word is written on the paper which is hidden

under one of your chairs. Find it. (Earth)The next word is here. Look at the monitor. Read the words. (Table, Chair, Sofa,

bed) What is the odd word? The next word is under the main table in the classroom. Find it. (Rubbish)

Can you tell me the topic of our lesson? So, today we are going to speak about environmental protection. I hope that by the end of the lesson you will learn some new words, improve your reading, listening, writing and speaking skills and even create a poster.

II. Vocabulary practice.1) Can you tell me any words which you associate with the environment?

First write as many words as you can on the topic in your copy-books. The pupil with the longest list will get a prize. Then let’s make the Mind-map

2) Now each of you will get a word. Try to find a partner with the word . You should have a word-combination. ( pour chemicals, pollute the air, protect animals, help nature, recycle glass, reusable products, health problems, destroy forests)

III. Listening and discussing.Before listening. Revison of the words. Answer the question. What environmental problems do we have ?Welcome 3 unit 15 DVDNow let’s watch the film. 1) While listening you should do he tasks on your sheets of paper.

2) After watching the film for the second time you should complete the chart. And speak about the problems
