The fair co-ordinates pre-scheduled meetings between filmmakers with projects in development and/or completed films and invited Film Financiers, Distributors, Sales Agents, Broadcasters, Film Funds and Major Producers. A pre-selected group of Irish and European producers with feature films/documentary projects will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of these companies. A project book will be available for all decision makers and in the case of completed films viewing facilities will be available. The Galway Film Fair’s unique selling points: Transatlantic Bridge Intimate and informal atmosphere Privileged access to the world’s leading financiers Showcasing new Irish and European cinema to leading Film Buyers, Distributors and Festival Programmers. If you have a completed film/documentary or a project in development and would like to participate at the Marketplace please complete the enclosed application form and return with a 100 word typed synopsis of your project/s by Friday 9th May 2014 at the latest. Instructions for completing application form:
1. You may submit up to three projects. Please provide a synopsis of each project (as outlined below) no longer than the specified 100 words maximum. This synopsis, along with your company details will be included in a publication, entitled the ‘Industry Handbook’, which will be available for all decision makers you will be meeting at the Marketplace.
2. Please complete the forms as per layout, using the ‘Calibri’ font at size 14.
3. Please note that treatments will not be included in the Pitching Papers. Treatments can be handed over at the individual meetings.
