Winners of 97.9’s “Big Country’s Got Talent” competition, this band is regularly ranked near the top on ReverbNation’s country charts.NEW SENSATION ◆ 3:45 - 5 p.m.New Sensation will transport you and your guests back to the days of MTV and mullets! All the fun of those “video days” are brought back with a performance of this exciting band, which features some of Colorado’s finest musicians. Lead vocalist, Alton King, has one of the most powerful voices you will ever hear and really brings the classic “stadium rock” anthems to life.
FLAMENCO UNDERGROUND ◆ 12 p.m.Natalia Pérez is very focused on exposing people in Colorado to the beautiful art form of Flamnco by bringing Flamenco artists from other parts of the USA and Spain to do shows and teach workshops.She is also the founder and Artistic Director of Flamenco Underground, performing regularly in the Denver area as well as other parts of Colorado, offering shows with live music, dancing and singing.
MARRAKESH EXPRESS ◆ 1 p.m.Samir El Yesfi, nicknamed Tito Malaga, was born in Tetouan, Morocco. He has always aspired to master the musical styles of Andalusian, North African, and Mid-Eastern cultures and blend them with traditional Moroccan folk music (G’nawa) of the Berber tribes. Samir is the leader of the Denver-based world music powerhouse Tito Malaga Band.
SWING JE T’AIME ◆ 2 p.m.A swing band, unconfined with fresh takes on classic favorites; unburied treasures; and innovative, original songs. Primary influences include legendary two-fingered trailblazer Django Reinhardt and his Hot Club of France; the genre-bending “little orchestra” from Portland, Pink Martini; and accessible polystylism. ABBEY LANE BAND ◆ 3 p.m.Abbey Lane Band is a four man Colorado- based group celebrating the best music written and performed by the greatest band in history...The Beatles. Everyone can remember where they were for the iconic appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. The Beatles changed music and since then,their legacy has influenced every generation of musical artist. The music of the Beatles is timeless and loved by all ages.
