Enterprising Wyndham Vale

Enterprising Wyndham Vale is about creating social cohesion through new business. The Business Start-Up Intensive provides Wyndham residents with the business skills and knowledge to develop robust business plans and create strong networks. Over the past four months, the Enterprising Wyndham Vale program has empowered local residents to build a resilient and more vibrant Wyndham Vale for themselves, their families and their community.

The program, now in its second year, equips local residents with business skills and knowledge and introduces them to successful local mentors, their networks and resources. Participants are matched with mentors who work with them to develop a robust, sustainable business plan around their business idea.

Developed by the Centre for Multicultural Youth, Wyndham City Council, and the Scanlon Foundation; Enterprising Wyndham Vale focuses on small business creation and subsequent new employment opportunities by helping community members to develop, plan, and implement business ideas.
