Numerology

Introduction

Can Numerology Help Relationships?

When you think of your relationships, your mind most likely goes directly to the romantic and intimate relationship in your life, or the perfect relationship you hope to find. But there are many types of important relationships: friendships, family ties, work-related associates, friends, teachers and more. Your life is filled with all kinds of important connections. Through the proper use of Numerology for relationships, all of these connections can improve. You’ll find your understanding of others and self-understanding growing, and your ability to truly connect with other people (and situations) will be guided by empathy and compassion, rather than the shallow returns of seeking validation from or meeting the expectations of others. Secrets Revealed What Numerology can tell you about your relationships with others? The answer is simple: a lot! It might be said that all humans have basic needs. These needs form the basis for all the value systems in the world.

• There is a need for certainty: to live in a world we can be sure of. • There is a need for variety – for stimulating experiences. • There is a need for togetherness • There is a need for personal significance • There is a need for “urge to merge” • There is a need to be an individual. • There is a need for growth, which has driven us to explore the universe,

attempt to understand its mysteries, and steadily improve the quality of our lives.

• The other half of this is the need for contribution: whether it’s making some kind of contribution to the lives of others, or whether it’s the gratitude you feel when someone helps you to satisfy these other needs.

None of these can be fulfilled alone. They require interactions with others. When Other People ‘Trigger’ You Everyone you interact with will trigger certain feelings in you. You may run across people that you simply don’t like, while you find common ground with others. Anyone’s main vibrational patterns can easily be described by Numerology. When two people’s vibrational patterns are not sympathetic to one another, they either distance themselves, or they find out what needs to be done in order to create harmony between them. The Law of Attraction Whatever you project into the world is what you will attract to yourself. This applies to words, thoughts, deeds and emotions. This is the basic principle of the Law of Attraction, and a concept that is really important for cultivating satisfying, healthy relationships. This rule also says that as you work on your own growth and well being, you’ll start attracting the relationships you want. ‘Working’ your Relationships No matter what kind of relationship you have with someone, there can be pitfalls, obstacles or challenges on the way to making a heart-based connection and mutual happiness. These pitfalls are made worse by “if it’s supposed to happen it will” thinking. That’s because it encourage blind acceptance and apathy. Unfortunately, most people who follow this line of thinking end up lonely and disappointed, because they don’t make an effort to bring more love into their lives. Remember: when you change your mind and then take action, you change your very world. When you honor yourself as a person who deserves to enjoy the abundance, prosperity and love that permeates the entire universe ... that’s exactly what you’ll experience! Through dreams, intuition, courage and knowledge, people have changed their lives, and the world. Knowing what you really want is half the battle,

the other half is having the tools to get it. Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools.

Part One

Relationships and Your Core Numbers

Your Core Numerology Profile can be boiled down to three Numbers, and several derived elements. These are:

• The Life Path • The Expression • The Soul Urge

The three work together in a very profound way:

• The Life Path shows what you receive from the world, and the feedback you get from what you project into it.

• The Expression has to do with how you project your inner light. • The Soul Urge represents the essence of who you are – that inner light

that strives for expression and manifestation.

Your Life Path Number

Your Life Path contains four others: the Achievement Number, the Life Cycles, the Birthday Vibration and the Maturity Number. In short, it is a summary of your experience in the world. It can carry both positive and negative attributes, because life has its ups and downs. Each “negative” experience along the Life Path is a lesson, and each positive experience as a passing grade. Also, the Life Path is permanent, since it is based on the date of your birth. So while you can change your name, this only means that the “new you” still has to work with the Life Path vibration, but in a different way. Your Life Path Cycles

The Life Path is built upon three Sub-Cycles, each having their own particular vibrational tone. These form the backdrop against which the various yearly vibrations play out. They help us to understand the challenges that present themselves to us, and what we can do to meet them. Suv-Cycles also affect our relationships. They can tell us about what type of vibrations we are expressing and what we can expect from others in return.

Page 4: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

When these Sub-Cycles change, people have been known to mysteriously change one career for another, abandon a previously cherished way of life or relationship, or experience a sudden elevation – or disaster. Your Life Path Sub-Cycles

The Formative Cycle describes your growth and the circumstances that prepare you for adulthood. It plants the seeds of self-defeating or self-empowering thoughts which can flower during your Cycle of Productivity. It can also determine what most of your adult relationships will be like. The Cycle of Productivity represents your career in the world and your adult life. This Sub-Cycle is the period of time when your Birthday Vibration is being expressed most strongly, which means that it plays a major role in the relationships that you have during your adult life. Your Harvest Cycle, which lasts until the end of your life, represents the rewards that are reaped from your efforts during the Productive Cycle. You may choose to “give back” to the world as a guide or teacher, in order to share the wisdom you have gained. Sometimes people take up a new career, advance their education, or experience new relationships during their later years. The Cycle of Personal Years

Personal Year 1

During the Personal Year One, you have the chance and the obligation to experience new beginnings, which makes this an excellent year for pursuing a new relationship. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to put your best foot forward, that time is now! Personal Year 2

A Personal Year of the vibration of Two is usually a year that promotes cooperation and teamwork. This is a year during which you need to be a little less aggressive in the pursuit of your goals, and work together with others. This is a significant year regarding new or existing relationships. Personal Year 3

Almost everyone enjoys a Personal Year Three. The year’s keywords are “social” and “pleasant”; this is a year for renewing old friendships and cultivating new ones. It is favorable for beginning a new relationship, or working positively with an existing one.

Personal Year 4

A Four Personal Year carries the vibration of work, so you’ll need to keep your nose to the grindstone and be prepared to do things “by the book.” It’s important to pay attention to details in all your affairs, and give a little extra time and attention to your partner, even if it’s not practical. Personal Year 5

A Five Personal Year is typically a year of many changes. It’s a year to put new methods or ideas to use in your relationships. Personal changes work well during this year and relationships can be fun, but committed ones may be more challenging than usual. Personal Year 6

A major theme of a 6 personal year is “adjustments.” Your home and your loved ones should be your top priority this year. This is because the Six vibration is intense in its ability to make or break relationships, according to your sense of responsibility and how you apply it at home. Personal Year 7

A Seven Personal Year means that this is the right time for rest, recuperation, introspection and meditation. Relax as much as possible. Dating or seeking new relationships may be more challenging than usual during this quiet year. Personal Year 8

The keywords for Personal Year Eight are money and control. Problems regarding control issues may make their way into your relationships with others. It’s important that you become more tolerant of those you care about, and give them more time than usual. Personal Year 9

During a Personal Year Nine you need to bring things to a close and let go of the past in order to make room for the future. Unreliable friends should be avoided, and any marginal relationships should be brought to a close. It is extremely important not to start a new relationship this year.

The Soul Urge

A Little Background

Page 6: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

Copyright © 2013 Numerologist.com

The Soul is the essence of who we are. One can say the Soul is the part of us that seeks experience and growth. Author, Shaman, Healer and Teacher Robert Moss brings up an important point:

“The Iroquois Indians say that if we fail to honor “the wishes of the soul” (as opposed to ego agendas), the soul will distance itself from us, leaving us prone to sickness and bad luck, putting us on the road of the walking dead.”

The Danger of Ignoring your Soul Urge

When we pursue material goals at the expense of the urgings of the Soul, its participation in our lives may diminish or disappear. Psychologists call this disassociation. Ancient shamans called this “loss of Soul.”

When this happens, luck disappears, and Murphy’s Law seems to be at the root of our existence. We can become listless, depressed, and dependent on powerful medicines to try and imitate the quality of being in touch with our true hearts. We give our power away to others, and make choices that do not further our self interest. Our immune systems weaken and we stay stuck in difficult relationships that we pretend to enjoy. On the Bright Side ...

The best thing about the Soul Urge is that we can work with it directly. It’s what we feel when we are at our best and what you see in those who are at theirs. When you begin to work on connecting to the Soul, you will find that you feel at your best more often, and that your connections with others improve. You will also begin to attract people to you who have a good connection with the inner you, which is always helpful. The connection between Soul and Heart is frequently discussed in textbooks and oral teachings on Yoga and other meditation practices. And, make no mistake: the Heart is the key to your relationships in more ways than one. Understanding How the Heart Effects Your Vibration Every heartbeat generates a burst of activity in the nervous system and brain. Scientists are just finding out that the nerve cells in the heart are more complex than many of those within the brain. The heart, not the “subconscious” mind, monitors hormones, rates of vibration (both mechanical and electromagnetic), internal pressure and many other things. It passes this information to the brain and lets it know if it needs to produce more of the chemicals that help move both thought and intention through the body and beyond.

Page 7: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

The heart produces a substance called ANF, the “balance hormone.” This hormone regulates blood pressure, electrolyte balance, fluid retention and so on; it powerfully affects the key internal organs within the body. It’s also involved in the immune and reproductive system, and can inhibit hormones associated with stress. The pulse is the result of the pressure wave generated by the heartbeat. Skilled healers can tell more than you might imagine by reading the pulse – not only about your health, but your personality, your likes and dislikes and your temperament. The electromagnetic field produced by the heart is about 5,000 times more powerful than the field produced by the brain. It has been proven that stimulating emotions in one person can affect another, even at a distance of several yards. This is all laboratory-proven science, not theory. How to Make the Vibrations of your Heart Coherent

It has been proven that when focus is brought to the heart, and positive feelings like gratitude, caring and compassion are remembered, the many vibrations in the heart become coherent, like a laser beam, and increase their “broadcast range.” It’s easy to do this. Just calm your breath and imagine that the breath is going into the heart. Then use your imagination to “feel” a positive emotion. The vibrations of the heart will go into coherence and broadcast a stronger signal. It takes two minutes at most to feel your way into this state, although you can practice for longer periods of time. If you do it every day, it won’t be long before you can tune into the heart and ask it for guidance in a minute or so. Using Heart Coherence to Improve Your Relationships

You may wonder how this Heart Coherence helps to improve relationships. It’s because it give you the opportunity to retrieve the missing qualities and powers of your Soul. As you get better at it, you’ll notice that you begin to attract people who are interested in you, not in how you fit into their ego agenda. If you’re already in a relationship, the heights will go higher automatically. The highest qualities of your Soul Urge will express themselves spontaneously. Little by little, (or sometimes in a flash!) you’ll experience a transformation at the emotional level. You will feel better about who you are, and others will

too. Your intuition will be more active, and you’ll be more capable of sharing in the happiness of others. You’ll notice that you are more tolerant of others and more patient with them, and they will be with you. It does take work, but the work will be well worth it.

The Expression

The Expression, or the Total Name Number, is about how you express yourself, but is more than that. It contains the Soul Urge and the Personality Number or Persona, and works with these two elements and the Life Path to process past experiences and generate future ones. It determines what you attract into your life, because it is what you project. It is a whole and complete description of you and the magic that you bring into the world. The Personality Number

The Personality Number, which is included within the Expression, is a compliment to the inner aspect of the self. Many Numerologists in India use it as an indication of personal style, and along with it, the type of dress. They believe that “the first impression is the last impression” – they use it to define how the style of behavior affects others. Here are a few simple guidelines that you can follow and experiment with.

• A person with a 9 Persona can simply avoid wearing anything black, and others will find them more attractive – they work best with inclusive color combinations.

• 8 people would do best to dress like a professional no matter what their trade or status – they need to be power-dressers and use earth tones and grays to their advantage.

• Those who have 7 as a Personality Number would do well to wear darker clothing, especially if there is something unique or mysterious about the styles that shows expertise and depth.

• A 6 Personality needs to wear comfortable and softer fabrics in lighter earth tones and pastels: colors and fabrics that help others feel at ease with them.

• A Persona of 5 needs to keep up with the latest trends appropriate to their surroundings, but they are likely to be at the cutting edge anyway – bright colors are good for them.

• 4 Personalities would do well by wearing sturdy and practical clothing rather than decorative outfits, unless a uniform is required for their daily comings and goings.

• 3 people usually benefit by blending in with the crowd and avoid the tendency to be showy.

Page 9: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

Copyright © 2013 Numerologist.com

• It is a good idea for a 2 Persona to choose style over comfort. The compliments they receive will boost self-esteem and confidence.

• The 1 Persona is not usually fussy about clothing, but it would benefit them immensely if they dressed in properly fitted outfits designed to impress others, rather than themselves.

These rules aren’t set in stone, but they definitely help make a positive impression that is coherent. Changing your personal style will not change your personal vibrational patterns in a negative way. Using the Personality Number as a style guideline shows others something about you that has much more to do with who you really are than how you feel at the moment. Very often our feelings are driven by conditioned responses to our circumstances, not our inner selves. Working with the Personality Number gives you an easy way to use style to dictate your circumstances, rather than letting your circumstances dictate your style. More on the Expression Number

Another important component of the Expression Number is the Inclusion Table, which tallies the frequency of each number used in the full name; then notes missing or overabundant numbers. When you connect with someone who has a number that you’re missing, or you happen to be abundant in a number that they are missing, this is a very good thing. It indicates a special relationship in which each person compliments the other. Here are the well documented effects of the greatest and least or missing number in the table. It’s an excellent guideline for what you can work on in order to make life more fulfilling.

Please note that some numbers are more common than others. For instance it is far more common to have one or no 7’s than it is to have no 9’s or 1’s. In an 18 letter name, three is a balanced number of 1’s; 1 is a good amount of 7’s; and all for all other numbers, two would be a balanced amount. This can be proportioned for longer or shorter names, and remember that for most names, it takes a zero in the 7 box to signify a lack. One

Overabundance: This is a sign of the desire to impose one’s desires on others. Lack: This individual finds it difficult, if not impossible, to stand on their own.

Page 10: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

It indicates a lack of self-confidence. Two

Overabundance: Too much reliance on others, a tendency to be emotionally draining. Lack: This is a sign that shows extreme difficulty with cooperation or compromise. Can also be oversensitive emotionally. Three

Overabundance: On a superficial level, this could represent a stereotypical “party animal,” always seeking social situations. Lack: This condition usually shows someone who is an introvert, or at the very least, socially awkward. Four

Overabundance: This is a sign of someone who buries themselves in details or is a workaholic who avoids intimacy. Lack: This is almost always an indication of an extreme dislike for work, especially physical labor or detailed work. Five

Overabundance: Here we have a sign of the abuse of one’s personal freedom, lack of regard for others, or over-indulgence. Lack: This individual finds it hard to accept change, and also tends to be jealous and controlling. Six

Overabundance: Usually people with this chart tend to be overly concerned with duties or loyalty in domestic/family matters. Lack: A perfectionist who often finds it hard to assess the “true” value of things and people. Avoids responsibilities. Seven

Overabundance: An overabundance of 7 is very rare, and would indicate extremism. Puts ideas above people, and may be distrustful. Lack: This is common, and can show impatience, impulsiveness, and allowing spirituality or materialism interfere with relationships. Eight

Page 11: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

Overabundance: A sign of being overly concerned with money and financial matters. Control or anger management issues. Lack: An overwhelming drive to gain personal wealth may cause disregard for the feelings or rights of others. Nine

Overabundance: Indicates one who is determined to do things their own way. Can be over-involved with others at the expense of their intimate relationships. Lack: An extremely rare sign that indicates a lack of empathy or compassion for others’ plights.

The Life Number The last chart element we’ll look at is called the Life Number, and by some, the Ultimate Number. This number is calculated in a very simple way: all that has to be done is to find the sum of the Life Path and the Expression. In other words, if someone has an Expression of 7 and a Life Path of 3, the Life Number will be (7+3=10), and 1+0=1. It is used in calculating the Relationship Number when you compare your chart to that of someone else’s. There are other aspects of the Numerology Chart that could be considered, but, because this guide is about easy ways to enhance relationships, it isn’t necessary to study much more than the core elements. They are inclusive and powerful, and have the most impact on major life experiences – including your most important relationships. For the Adventurous

Creating A Relationship Chart

The format for a relationship chart is simple. Look at the forms below, and copy them and the instructions. It won’t be long before you don’t need the instructions anymore. First, you’ll need the alphabet conversion table:

*Note – the relationship number is always reduced to a single digit, but it’s nice to see the compound number as well. Instructions for filling out the chart:

Start by entering the month of birth, remembering that this will be the key vibration of the Formative Cycle of the Life Path. Next, enter the date of birth, remembering that this will be the key to the Cycle of Productivity. In the box marked “Achievement Number” write the sum of the month and day of birth – this number is the key to calculating Personal Years.

In the box marked “Birth Year”, write the year of birth, then find the mathematic sum. This is the Maturity Number – the key to the Harvest Cycle. Next sum the achievement number and the Year of birth, then add the total to find the Life Path. Example:

Element Calculations Birth Month November = 11/2

Birth Date 13/4 Achievement # = 11+13 =24/6

Birth Year 1986 Maturity # = 1+9+8+6 = 24/6

Life Path 1986+24 = 2010; 2+0+1+0 = 3

This method captures Karmic and Master numbers easily when they appear in the month or date of birth. They have a special meaning regarding the Life Path Cycles. After the Life Path Numbers are filled out, move on to the name. It’s best to write the full name in the Expression box.

Element Calculations Soul Urge

Personality

Spell out the name in the Expression box. Place the numerical value of the vowels in the Soul Urge row. Total them, making sure to keep the subtotal. Master Numbers should not be reduced, but Karmic Numbers should. Then do the same with the Personality Number, using the consonants. Keep the subtotal – it contains information you will use as your skills develop and your knowledge broadens. The sum of the Soul Urge and Personality is the Expression. Just enter the subtotal and the reduced number into the box adjacent to the Full Name. Remember not to reduce doubled, or Master Numbers any further. The Life Number is simply the sum of the Expression and the Life Path. This

number is always resolved into a single digit. Even if one of them is a Master Number, they are added and the Master Number is ignored. In this case, 11+3 = 14, 1+4 = 5, so 5 is the Life Number. Now you can move on to the second chart, and calculate the results in exactly the same way that you did the first one. Once both charts are complete, you want to fill in the Inclusion Tables. It is a simple matter of looking over the Soul Urge and

Personality Numbers, and counting up the number of times that each of the numbers 1 – 9 appear. As an example, let’s fill in the inclusion table for our sample person:

• We can easily see that there are 3 Ones in the Soul Urge, and 2 Ones in the Personality, making for a total of 5 Ones. Therefore, the Number 5 goes in the upper left-hand square of the Inclusion Table.

• There is only 1 instance of Two in the personality, so 1 is placed in the top center square.

• There are no 3’s in his name, so zero goes in the top right-hand square.

• There are 5 Fours in the Personality; we put 5 in the left hand square of the center row.

• There are 3 Fives, so three is placed in the center of the table. • Only 1 Six is visible, so 1 goes into the right hand square of the center

row. • There are no Sevens, which is not a rare condition; put zero in the

bottom left corner. • There is 1 Eight, so 1 goes in the middle column, bottom row. • We can see 2 Nines, so two goes into the bottom right box. With this

last entry, the Inclusion Table is complete. When completing these tables, it is always a good idea to check your work in order to make sure it was done correctly. The check is easy. The total of all the numbers contained within the table should be equal to the total number of letters in the full name. in this case, we count eighteen letters in the table. If we look at the Expression calculation and count the letters, we will find that there are eighteen letters in his name, meaning that the count is correct. After repeating this procedure for “person B” it will be clear whether or not one member of the couple has a number the other is weak in or missing. Once both tables are complete, the Relationship Number is calculated. It is the mathematic sum of the two life numbers. It must always be a single digit number, regardless of the Life Numbers. In other words, our sample person has a Life Number of 11+3 = 14, 1+4 = 5. If the person in the other chart had a Life Number of 6, the Relationship Number will be 5+6 = 11, 1+1 = 2 Do not ignore the Master Number in this equation, however, write it as 11/2. Now for the real fun…

Part 3

Interpreting The Numerology Relationship Chart

Before you begin to interpret the relationship chart, it would be a good idea to spend some time looking at different relationships between numbers. One of the most basic ways to compare numbers is by looking at which group they belong to. The largest are the “gendered” groupings (odd and even numbers, respectively). The odd numbers, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 are generally individualistic, and have more of a tendency to be idealistic. They are prone to think and act in abstract, surprising ways.

Page 17: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

Copyright © 2013 Numerologist.com

The even numbers, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 22 tend to be more focused on interpersonal and group connections. They are generally more practical, and find it easier to deal with everyday circumstances. Numbers also can be grouped by their connection with certain concepts and behaviors. 2, 6 and 9 are more supportive and harmonious in general; 9 is the compassion number, and the most altruistic of this group. 6 is concerned with domestic support and harmony, while 2 is more supportive of friends and intimate relationships. 1, 4 and 8 are more concerned with independence and power; 8 sees to its own needs, 4 is security conscious and concerned with its limitations, and 1 tends to focus on personal independence. 1, 4, 8 and 5 are more self-centered and concerned with systems and order. 2, 6 and 9 focus on being supportive caregivers, and “try to help.” 3, 5, 6 and 9 are creative and expressive. 7, 11 and 22 tend to be more tense and nervous vibrations. 11 and 22 generally have a special gift or potential. Number comparisons have less to do with giving a strict “yes or no” than they do with telling stories. Here’s is a rare technique that is seldom seen in Numerology textbooks.

This is a very important table in that it shows complimentary numbers. Any other number “Vibrates To” another is its compliment. Attraction has to do with magnetism. Disagreement has to do with contradictory natures. A number Vibrating To another shows intense mutual attraction and a favorable relationship. A number that Attracts another shows two people are well suited to be with one another in any type of relationship. A number that Disagrees With another shows a relationship that will require tact and work, if any kind of long-term connection is desired. A number that is Passive Toward another shows that there is no opposition to the relationship, but no particular support either. If two numbers are the same, the people represented by them understand each other well, and although they might clash from time to time, they know how to defuse the tension and get back on track. As you will see, when comparing charts, it’s a good idea to look at both parties Life Path Cycles and Personal Years, but it is not good to compare them to each other. The Cycle and Year issues are individual, and need to be worked with separately. If your partner is going through a 5 year, they are the ones having 5 issues. If things are tough for you, you need to look at what can be done in order to transform your own issues into opportunities. In order to work with this problem, we use the Relationship Number with this table in order to compare the cycle numbers of the two individuals. Once the Relationship Number is known, it can be compared to the current cycles of both person A and person B in order to see who is contributing benefits or difficulties to the relationship. If you are in a relationship, it belongs to the two of you, as does the Relationship Number. Interpreting Comparisons

The first thing to do when comparing Numerology Charts is to determine your starting point. The Soul Urge is an excellent place to start, since it is also called the Heart’s Desire or the Heart Number. The Soul Urge Connection

Soul Urge, or Heart’s Desire numbers are said to be the core of relationships in more ways than one. Some writers say that if a couple has the same Soul Urge they are “Soul-mates.” Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean the relationship will go smoothly. In ancient myths, when Saturn created humanity, we were “whole” in that

our Souls were complete, having all attributes in balance. Zeus, however, did not like this arrangement and split us all apart. Now this may be a myth, but the story might just be based on ancient explanations for why we seek the companionship of others in order to feel whole. “Frenimies”

Let’s take a look at the Friends and Enemies table, so that you can see how one may attract people who are not good for them, or are chronically attracted to relationships that are short-lived.

Table of Planetary Correspondence

Number Friendly Enemy 1 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 2, 6, 8 2 2, 4, 6, 9 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 3 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 2, 4 4 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 3, 6 5 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 2, 6, 9 6 2, 3, 6, 9 1, 4, 5, 7, 8 7 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 2, 6 8 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 1, 2, 6, 9 9 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 5, 8

This is not a table that has to be followed strictly. It is based on the affinities of planetary vibrations closest to the original vibration of the number. It can be very useful, however, for explaining some of the interesting subtleties of the connections between people. In this table, 9 and 8 are mutual enemies, but in the table of affinities, they hold a passive relationship. This means that a relationship based on Soul Urge 9 and 8 will be touchy, and may even turn rocky at times, but the animosity may not go far if other elements are good. If we look at Soul Urge 1, in this table, 7 is listed as a friend, while in the Table of Affinities, it is listed in the Disagrees With column. This would mean that they don’t see eye-to-eye, but that 7 might just have what 1 needs in order to feel fulfilled. Looking at the first row, you might see that 4 is listed among the “friendly” numbers, and, in the Table of Affinities, 4 and 1 have a mutually beneficial relationship. It may seem complicated now, but eventually, you will see how

these variations between the correspondence and affinity tables tell stories that can be fascinating. Both methods should be used when comparing Soul Urge numbers to each other, but remember, they don’t have to be perfect. If the Soul Urges don’t match don’t worry. There is probably a positive connection somewhere in the chart, whether you can see it in the basic version described here or not, especially if the other chart elements are favorable. The Soul Urge and the Personality Number don’t have to match, in terms of being compatible, in your own chart. They are the two streams of force that make up the Expression Number, and the Expression Number contains them in a balanced state. In a way, they are doing two different things. All you need to do is to try your best to get them to do their best. The Expression

The Expression is an important element of the chart because it sums up everything about the vibrations of your name. As said earlier, the name is the first choice that you experience: it was given by parents or guardians, and contains special magic within it. Some believe that the human Soul has a hand in its incarnation; that it is the Soul that decides where, when and to whom it is born into this world. This would imply that the Soul has chosen the name, and impresses this choice on the future parents. The implication of this concept is that the Soul has chosen the Expression and the Life Path in order to learn certain things and have certain experiences during its lifetime. While we look somewhat at the Soul in the use of the Heart’s Desire number, there is not much about it that can truly be known. It is much easier to get a sense of mission by comparing the Expression to the Life Path number – not for an analysis of whether they are a good match or not, but to see what kind of story they tell. In relationship work, the connection and state of the Expression and the Life Path is an individual thing. What’s more important in this context is the Life Number itself. The Life Number, again, is the arithmantic sum of the Expression and the Life Path. Sometimes these two are the same, producing a third number that can help them both, and give you hints about who you truly are, and what’s to come.

Say someone has an Expression of 5 and a Life Path of 4. This would give a Life Number of 9. Since they resolve to 9, this means that they are willing and ready to make major sacrifices to attain success, and if they are getting the best out of their Expression, they will achieve what they set out to do. By working on the Soul Urge or the Persona, you are elevating the vibrational rate of your Expression. Just some minor tweaks to the personal style and you are seen differently, feel differently, and you’ll find that these feelings are really the Soul Urge manifesting itself in a more powerful way. Should I Change My Name?

A careful Numerologist can help you do this, but if you do, you’ll find yourself working with a different set of challenges, and modifying your approach to things and people in the process. This could be favorable or unfavorable. Competent Numerologists think of this as a serious matter, and not something to be taken lightly. Think about Marilyn Monroe, who after changing her name, achieved tremendous fame, but had a tragic personal life; or Kirk Douglas, who lived happily to an advanced age with his new name – and it was a new name, not a pseudonym. Many people who change their names do so before they get the best out of their original name, and work with its magic. This is a very big subject, but it is a good idea to consider it carefully in the light of how it might affect your relationships. The Life Path and The Relationship Number

When working with the Relationship Chart, we compare the numbers of the two Life Paths using the table of affinities. If you are in a relationship, it might be a good idea to look up the Relationship Number, instead of your own Life Number. Look up your own Cycles and Years using the Relationship Number, and see what they have to say. Here’s a brief listing of the Relationship numbers compared to the various Cycle and Year numbers. Relationship Number 1

(1:9) There will be lots of emotional stress in this relationship, but they are complimentary Life Numbers, and can be expected to maintain a harmonious connection.

(2:8) This is a relationship based on mutual support and true loving appreciation, if there are troubles, the 8 needs to be more demonstrative. (3:7) The 3 uplifts the 7, while the 7 helps 3 keep their feet on the ground. They pursue a wide variety of common interests together. 7 may need to put extra attention on keeping a sense of humor. (4:6) Here we have a basically harmonious situation. These two will build a home or family together. This is a loyal couple, barring extreme circumstances and a major difference in the core elements. (5:5) Five is its own compliment, so the relationship is generally favorable, but there is a chance of wanderlust or other forms of the abuse of freedom, depending on the individual charts.

Relationship Number 2

(1:1) This relationship is made up of two ambitious people. There can be lots of “head butting” and ego-clashes, unless one becomes subservient and lets the other have his/her way. (2:9) These folks are way too overemotional when they are together. This is a relationship that requires a lot of work, and chances are one won’t put in the effort if the other doesn’t. (3:8) This is a mixed combination: 3 really appreciates 8, but 8 can’t seem to get the cooperation from 3 that s/he wants without asking ... and 8 doesn’t like to ask! (4:7) The 4 is comfortable with 7’s interests, and 7 feels that they can trust 4. Sometimes this is a situation where one is taking care of the other on material and other levels. (5:6) It is rare to see this couple. Neither is fond of the other’s world view. 6 thinks 5 is way too unreliable, and 5 thinks 6 is too dogmatic and filled with false hopes.

Relationship Number 3

(1:2) This combination of Life Numbers shows a conflict of interest. This is likely to be an emotionally strained relationship that is also emotionally

draining for both parties. It’s OK for business, though. (3:9) Here we have another case where both parties’ Life-Numbers are a part of the odd number family. The 9 does not mind 3’s, and 3 loves 9’s perspective and sharing matters. (4:8) This combination points toward financial issues that are not easy to resolve. They both tend to handle money well on their own, but when they get together, they both try to take charge. (5:7) This couple can work out well, but only if the 5 is being responsible, and not responding to the desire to be “free.” It does work for people who have mutual career interests. (6:6) In this relationship, both parties are likely to take on too many responsibilities and get involved in other’s problems outside the home. One of them may be a “workaholic.”

Relationship Number 4

(2:2) This is likely to be an uncomfortable relationship in which both parties are busy trying to take care of each other’s needs. It will be too emotional a situation for either party. (3:1) Another very favorable combination: 3 likes 1’s energy - 1 likes 3’s flexibility and sense of ease. This can be tricky regarding money matters, but those issues can be resolved easily. (4:9) This relationship can work well if 9 is the dominant partner. If 4 initiates the relationship, things may not work out well. This is a famous one in politics. (5:8) This is a combination that can give mixed results. If 8 has the role of the dominant partner it works well. If 5 practices a discipline of some kind it may work very well. (6:7) Another combination with mixed results: lots of mutual attraction, sharing and similar goals, but unless 7 is really focused on settling down, there will be a lack of understanding.

Relationship Number 5

(3:2) This is generally a powerful combination as far as issues concerning

love and sex go. The 5 relationship number is tolerant, as is 3, and 2 is willing do what it takes to keep it going. (4:1) The 4 helps out with practical matters that need a practical touch, but 4 is a limiting factor that can really irritate 1; while 1 seems too adventurous for 4. (5:9) Here we have a relationship that is harmonious overall: 9 helps to expand 5’s horizons, while 5 fulfills 9’s sense of adventure. This couple will like travel. (6:8) Sometimes material goals can interfere with domestic responsibilities and put the relationship at risk, but this combination is generally harmonious and focuses on wealth creation. (7:7) This is likely to be a relationship marked by discord from limitations placed on them or mutual agreements to disagree. This may not be the most passionate relationship.

Relationship Number 6

(3:3) It would be hard for this pair to stay focused on anything! This is the poster child combination for distractions and putting too many irons in the fire. They find each other unreliable. (4:2) This couple will be lucky as far as financial matters are concerned. This is a solid relationship, and a long lasting one. This pair has no issue with building a family. (5:1) Change and success could follow this adventurous couple. They tend to look forward to surprises, they both love travel, and they both stay on top of the latest trends. (6:9) 6 and 9 are members of the same number family and work very well together; 6 is likely to be dedicated to 9’s ideals. Often this couple gets involved in politics (7:8) It’s likely that a relationship between these two would be fraught with conflict, trust and control issues. Neither one thinks the other can do things right. Bad for financial matters.

Relationship Number 7

(3:4)

This pair has a hard time getting along because 4 limits 3, and 3 seems unreliable and inconsistent to 4. There may be financial problems or wellness issues. (5:2) Conflicts are likely to ensue over both romantic and financial issues. Often 2 is a strong support for 5, but 5 insists on doing their thing anyway. Infidelity is likely. (6:1) If 1 is the dominant partner in the relationship, it will succeed. Otherwise, 6 may be too oriented to causes and ideals to accept 1’s spirit of independence. (7:9) This is another relationship that gives mixed results. A happy couple is dependent on the 7 to keep their feet on the ground. If 7 can take a dominant role, the results will be good. (8:8) The pair of 8’s is a turbulent vibration, primarily because of financial and business problems. It would be a good idea for them to get involved in “money manifesting” work.

Relationship Number 8

(3:5) This pair likes each other’s energy andtruly understand each other. They give each other plenty of space without letting go of the connection they feel. (4:4) Limits and distractions keep this couple hung up on issues instead of each other. The double 4 can mean money problems that affect the Relationship Number 8. (6:2) This combination anywhere in the chart usually means harmony in love and domestic matters. This number is not favorable for business partnerships or involvement in others’ money. (7:1) Discord and conflict may reign among this couple if 1 is the dominant partner, but if 7 is in charge, they are not likely to limit 1 to the point that they feel useless. (8:9) This is a combination of numbers that generally relate to hardship and endings, but sometimes they are harmonious. The 9 wants to let go, and the 8 wants things to remain the same.

Relationship Number 9

Page 26: Enhance Your Relationships v3 UPDATE - Amazon S3€¦ · Your Complete Numerology Profile and this training book are two of these tools. Part One Relationships and Your Core Numbers

(3:6) This is a harmonious relationship in many ways. They are in the same number family, 3 entertains 6, and 6 takes care of 3’s material needs in some way. This can be a lasting relationship. (4:5) Five cannot tolerate the limitation of 4, there is conflict between lifestyles and ideals between these two. This is a relationship that seldom happens. (7:2) A good combination due to 2’s efforts to bring peace into the relationship, but there can be emotional upsets that throw things off, so they don’t bear up under stressful times. (8:1) This can be a successful couple if 8 is the partner that sets their direction. When 1 takes the lead, things are likely to get difficult because 8 doesn’t like to tie up loose ends. (9:9) Losses and struggles are likely to typify this combination. The couple may go from one thing to another without finding common ground. This is a doubled “ending.”
