Honesty

•You are expected to do original work on all of your

assignments.

•Presenting somebody else’s words and ideas asyour own (plagiarism) is dishonest, and will resultin a “0” on the assignment.

•Your character is one of your most importantassets – don’t sell yourself cheaply.

Circle of Honor

I have been asked what I mean by my “word of honor”:

I will tell you.Place me behind prison walls – stone, ever so

high, ever so thick – there is a possibility that in some way I may

be able to escape.

But stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me,

and have me give my word of honor never to cross it.

Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I would die first.

Homework Assignment

1. List 5 things that really interest you.

2. Order the list, with most important item first.

3. Describe why item number one is very important to you.

(think of at least three reasons why it is important)

You will be asked about your list during next class, but you needn’t turn it in. Don’t loose it – you will need it later.
