15+Why do people fear the octopus in the past?
The octopus, with its beady eyes, frightening tentacles and hooked beak, was misunderstood by people for centuries. Its strange appearance caused terror in sailors and gave rise to one of it names- the “devil-fish”. Today, however, we have come to realize that the misunderstood octopus is in fact a unique wonder of nature, and a vital part of the ocean’s biodiversity.

16+Why would the snow have gathered momentum through the night?
The snow slid slowly at first, a barely noticeable shrug in the night. Then it gathered momentum, sliding past trees and pushing up against boulders. By daylight, the peak of the mountain was moving.
