RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership award) an independent organizationUnder Rotary umbrella to provide leadership training for youth. This pro-gram organized by youth who already have experienced about leadershipto lead another youth from ages 18 to 28 years old would be trained for oneweek. RYLA was established in Australia since 1959, Queensland govern-

ment gathered youth and executed leadership training during one week bynamed it Gundoo. Because this program was excellent for young people,Brisbane Rotary Club continues this program as yearly program. In 1972Rotary International adapted this program as Rotary program named RYLA.RYLA program had established in many continents like Australia, Asia, Af-rica, America and Europe. RYLA came in East Timor in 2004, every year2 or 3 persons from East Timor people would send to attended leadershiptraining in Australia supported by RYLA Australian, mostly RYLA RotaryDistrict 9680 Sydney cooperated between Fundasaun Alola (Sra. KhirstySword Gusmo) and Dili Rotary club. In 2009, RYLA opened again inEast Timor named RYLA Timor - Lorosae. All dream realized by initiativefrom Australian Rotary club represented by Theo Glockman and his wifeGeorgia Glockman who support East Timor youth when they were par-ticipating in Australia leadership training. By effort and hard commitmentscould convene ryla program has begun in east Timor in 2010, all youth of East Timor who has participated in Australia leadership training and whohave voluntary spirit with Australia. new history starts to give assistance in job of humanity which rstly gives the training to the youth about 50 personin liquisa.

And 2011 RYLA made up Leadership in Dili for 100 youth and RYLA will be realizing the leadership training in Dare 2012. RYLA has commitment to provide the leadership training ones a year for east Timor youth to improvetheir capacity to be the best leader in the future.
