ABOUT US

For over 10 years , King Stage Academy has operated in the Education sector.

Located in London, King Stage’s campus sits near a World Heritage Site building designed in the 17th century by Sir Christopher Wren. We offer a range of bespoke teaching and career management services to students.

Our main objective is to excel in Education helping, students to achieve success both academically and professionally. We also run our courses in the heart of the University of Greenwich, Dreadnought building.

We endeavour to provide an enriching and stimulating learning experience by delivering quality and comprehensive education through effective and bespoke teaching methods.

We are committed to enhancing students’ knowledge, skills and employability by offering fully managed, holistic and supportive education that works for individual learners.

WHAT WE OFFER

We provide English tuition to clients organisations, in London and throughout the United Kingdom. All our teachers are CELTA Qualified.

The English programme have been specifically developed to improve English speaking skills and build students’ confidence during daily interactions.

Our English courses focuses on a variety of situations and will include a range of teaching methods to improve skills such as role plays, debates, group discussions and presentations.

When the students have completed the programme at King Stage, they should be able to confidently use a wide range of vocabulary and have improved their fluency, accuracy, pronunciation and listening comprehension.

KING STAGE - STUDENT ENROLMENT PROCESS

We send you a confirmation Letter and a welcome pack upon receipt of the fees

- Course start every first Monday of each month except bank and public holidays

- Number of hours: 10 hours per week (Speak to our team for more hours)

- Levels: Elementary to Upper Intermediate

GENERAL ENGLISH

We offer a range of full-time and part-time General English courses to suit different levels and durations.

All our courses include a language placement assessment, an individual assessment, and a certificate of achievement. Each class has a maximum of 18 students.

We want to make sure that the students get the most out of the lessons, therefore our General English course will focus on:

● Speaking and Listening

● Pronunciation

● Reading and Writing

● Grammar and Vocabulary

ENGLISH FOR HOSPITALITY

The “Business English” programme aims at improving confidence and enhancing communication skills in a business environment. This programme will allow the students to make the most of job opportunities in their industry.

Students will have the opportunity to learn workplace language. This course is designed for those who are required to use English in their job or for those taking internships or apprenticeships in an English speaking country. Each classroom has a maximum of 18 students.

Course will focus on:

● Useful Hospitality terms and expressions

● Vocabulary related to Hospitality industry

● Written hospitality business communication such as letters, emails, and reports

● Customer Management vocabulary

● Making presentation

● Recruitment practice and procedures

● Presenting data and describing trends

● Organisation of meetings

● Food and Menu workshop

BUSINESS ENGLISH

The “Business English” programme aims at improving confidence and enhancing communication skills in a business environment. This programme will allow the students to make the most of job opportunities in their industry.

● Making presentation using PowerPoint

● Business negotiation

● Recruitment practice and procedures

● Presenting data and describing trends

● Participating in meetings

The Dreadnought Building offers restaurants and a bar, computing spaces as well as a gymnasium and concert venue for a memorable student experience.

All students can get TOTUM (National Union of Students) card, which can be used to obtain discounts on a wide range of goods.

Accommodation

Properties of all kinds are widely available within easy reach of our campus. Our student administrator will help you to find the right accommodation.

Bank account

We will help you to open a UK bank account. Thanks to our partner TSB you will be able to open a bank account for free.

Career Support We offer extra support and activities to students to stand out in their chosen field and achieve their career goals.

The Careers workshop provide a range of help and advice to help you plan your career and make well-informed decisions along the way.
