Task 1: Find the nouns in the story ‘The Frog Prince’
Remember yesterday’s story ‘The Frog Prince? Go through the story and write a list of 10 nouns from the story.
Your book should look like this.
Remember a noun is a naming word. It is the name of a person, place or object.

An adjective is a describing word.
There was a spider in the bathroom.

I have include some adjective word mats to give you some ideas about different adjectives you could use in your writing.
I have given a few different levels of examples. The children loved being exposed to more complex vocabulary and sometimes it is fun to learn new words! You could pick one word from mat 2 or 3 as a challenge word. Learn what it means and have
a go using it in a sentence.

Naomi Noun told me how brilliant you were at finding nouns in your story. Now create some amazing descriptions by adding two or more adjectives to a noun in a sentence.
Task 2: Write 6 descriptive sentences!
• Pick 6 nouns you found in the story. • Write a simple sentence with an adjective to describe your noun.
For example: Level 1: Pretty princess. Green Frog. Happy boy. Level 2: The pretty princess wanted a ball.Level 3: The beautiful and confident princess wanted a ball. Level 4: The beautiful and confident princess wanted a gleaming gold ball.
