◦ Different from English Language journal writing
◦ Studentss to demonstrate understanding of a topic through
drawing or writing short sentences.
◦ Rubrics could be used to assess students’ work
Performance Task◦ Involves hands-on materials or drawings
◦ Students will write down their answers on paper after performing the
task required
◦ Use of manipulatives (concrete) in the classroom during lessons will
help students in this assessment

◦ Topical Exercises are not meant to be graded
