PHRASAL VERBS • Formed by a VERB + PARTICLE

• The meaning of the verb can be predictable or not.

- go up, go down, bring back…

- put up with, look forward to…

• All the tense/person inflections affect the verb and never the particle.

- switching on, switches on, switched on

• When they have an object, sometimes it can fall in the middle.

-Take off the jacket. // Take the jacket off.

BUT!!! : Take IT off.

• HOW CAN I LEARN THEM?

Try to use them as much as you can.

Arrange them: Same vb + different prepositions
