5. teachers assign homework to students every day

Giving homework to children enhances their capacity to understand the subject

better. Even if at school they are unable to comprehend something they can re read

that chapter again and ask questions....Another principal cause for giving schoolwork

is making students be much more aware of their learning. Learners are answerable for

their study thoroughly so they oblige to put a great deal of effort into theor

apprehension. Therefore the accomplishment of prep is not only a responsibility for

students to try their best but also a motivation to strengthen the cognition. !oreover

finishing homework helps learners becomes much more active to attain knowledge. "t

is easier for them to grasp the information in ne#t lessons. $y degrees students might

raise the sense of initiative in learning and others which is e#tremely favorable to

handle une#pected situation.

To be smart and pass our grade to be smart. To not be la%y or just do nothing because

some kids they don&t want to do it teachers care about them. Teachers love us but

sometimes they or happy or mad teachers are helping us to not to lose . Teachers love

us and teachers are helping us they are there for us.

'chools should give homework. Teachers give us homework so we have something

to do instead of watching T(. )omework over the holidays is okay but " disagree with

bombarding students with homework packages that take away family time. "f you

plan correctly then you can spend time with family and your homework.

)omework is important in order for students to understand what they&re learning in a

more personal way. Teachers and other administrators of education need to be aware

of what is required to complete a homework assignment and that not all students will

have access to the resources required to do so. 'chools must be able to provide these

resources or assign homework that does not require resources that cannot be

guaranteed in all homes.

7. best ways of reducing stress

*owaday many people have stress from work school and so on. As you know

stress can cause bad health and mental depression which can also affect your life. +ou

have to get rid of stress so that you can concentrate on your work or school or enjoy

your life. *ews flows at the speed of light and events on one side of the world cause

a chain reaction on the other which in turn can cause an instantaneous change in

markets security and even peoples, happiness.

$ecause of all this the need to rela# is paramount however this has also becomemore difficult due to the nature of modern technology -computers smart phones

tablet devices and T( and radio it is almost impossible to completely cut ourselves

off from society and be alone.

/irst " might feel better if " talk with my friends at a coffee house. " will spend my

time with friends is a good way to get everything that bothers out of my mind and

also it is a good way to build friendships. " hang out with my friends when " have

stress from school. " can forget all about study and classmates. )owever you have to

be careful. "f you spend too much time with your friends you may not be able to get a

satisfactory result from your work or school.

'econd a wholesome hobby will make me stress0free. There are a great number of

things that " can do such as e#ercise reading painting and so on. 1atching movies

for instance is my friend&s favorite hobby. 'he even enjoyed a movie club a while

ago. 'he always says she can relieve her stress from work by wating movies.

Third is e#ercise. "n my e#perience when " was taking e#ercise it same " was also

throughing my stress away and trying to get my confidence back. E#ercise not only

make my body strong but also make my spirit strong. After e#ercise " feel " am new

again " have enough energy to struggle.

1. food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people

live?

*owadays wherever we turn our ga%e we can see different types of food that are

easier to prepare. /or instance we can buy fro%en foods in a supermarket and just

prepare it in a couple of minutes whereas before it could have taken us maybe hours

to prepare this kind of meals. " would accept that this so0called improvement has

changed our lives but " believe that there are some drawbacks as well.

/rom my opinion " strongly disagree that easier food preparation has improved the

way people live. "f it doesn,t make people,s better why has it been changed2 " think it

is to meet the people,s requirement. "n the former times people spent much time in

the kitchen. That caused wasting abounding time. $ut these days people can

minimi%e their cooking hours from either choosing to consume a fro%en food or

buying a meal from a fast food restaurant so that they can have more time to do other

things. "t roughly seems their lives get better but it is not like that at all.

3omparing with a fresh meal a fro%en food and a fast food are undoubtedly easier to

prepare in that they can save time and reduce the process of food preparation. They

are suitable only for some rush meal not for having as a main dish every day. 'ince

nutrition from such a meal cannot provide all matters which our bodies need people

should not always consume such as a hamburger. "t is well known as a fast food and

mainly consisted of meat and bread. 4bviously only two kinds of nutrition are

inadequate for our body. "f people continuously consume it that will not be good for

Page 4: english for written.doc

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/english-for-writtendoc 4/8

their health. $ecause such a kind of food contains lots of cholesterol and

carbohydrate e#cessive consumption will cause to obesity.

The advantage of gathering family members around a meal at home is lost. /ast

prepared food types are usually eaten outside home. 1ith the absence of regular

family meetings relationships are likely to be weaker.

4thers think that fast prepared food types do improve our style of life. This opinion

comes especially from busy people working wives and younger people. They believe

that we have many things in life more important than eating. Time spent on food preparation is considered wasted by them. 1ives will have more time to take care of

their families& souls not just stomachs. /amily relationships will get stronger. $usiness

men and women will have more time to concentrate on their business without

worrying about food arrangements. "n general people will have a greater opportunity

to take care of their minds and hearts. 5eports estimate the time spent on food

arrangements as a large percentage of our lives.

" agree with that food preparation should take its necessary time and care. 4therwise

the time saved in food preparation can lead to longer times of headache or even of

staying in hospitals suffering from malnutrition.

3. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from eperience with knowledge

gained from books. !n your opinion" which source is more important?

6nowledge is what every human being craves for. "n some or the other form every

human being the one with a purpose and the one without any will lead consciously

or unconsciously towards gaining knowledge. 1e follow different paths and will be

led to different destinations but with some knowledge throughout the journey. There

are people who have studied e#ceptionally well researched upon their area of study

and have remained unnoticed and there are those who have gained knowledge by self0

understanding intuition and have become world0renowned icons. "n both the cases it

is knowledge that is common.

7*ot everything that is learnt is contained in books7. "n my point of view both are

important. E#perience cannot e#ist without knowledge gained from book while the

latter is not useful without practice and e#perience. /or this reason " believe that

learning from books is more significant.

4n the one hand from books someone can acquire a lot of knowledge which

cannot be given by e#perience. !oreover from books someone cannot only obtain

information from his own e#perience but also from the e#perience and knowledge of

other scientists. /urthermore according to the chinese quotation 71hen you read

something you forget it when you see something you remember it and when you do

something you learn how it works7 when you read something you might forget it

after a while. /inally there are a lot of scientific fields where books play the most

important role. As an e#ample " mention literature where knowledge is mainly

obtained from books.

The knowledge that all the books share provides you an understanding of various

concepts and then ignites in you a desire to e#plore further. )owever the above

statement e#plains the difference in a broad way. 3onsider trivial e#periences like

Page 6: english for written.doc

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/english-for-writtendoc 6/8

getting burns when you touch a hot object which need not be recorded. Even if such

knowledge from trivial e#periences are recorded you might not need a book to tell

you what to do when you touch a hot object. "t is learning from instincts and

e#periences.

+ou might not come across e#periences that will help you gain the amount of

knowledge that will be gained through studying from books. 3onsider the instance of

apple0dropping on "saac *ewton. *ewton postulated a theory based upon his

e#plorations upon the question and has written a proven theory known to us as the

Law of Gravitation. $ased upon his theory there have been many other theories that

have shaped the course of various present0day modern technologies. 'o if *ewton

wouldn&t have written a book based upon the knowledge that he gained through

e#perience e#ploration and understanding we would perhaps still be trying to solve

the pu%%le of why an apple falls to the ground8

"n conclusion knowledge from books is more important than the knowledge you

gain from e#periences in the present day world. "f you can question the reality of

knowledge from books and can prove your question studies understandings will all

be recorded into a book to be studied by some other knowledge seeker.

#. $ome people believe that university students %full time and part time& should

be re'uired to attend classes. (thers believe that going to classes should be

optional for students.

Attending classes or not is debateful subject that most of the students talk about

some people like me agree with attending class while others think it doesn,t have

much benefit " belive that if the universities don,t attend the class the students won,t

start studying even if they start studying they won,t have a good schedule to reach

their goal " mean understanding the whole subjects and being ready for final or

midterm e#ams

The first benefit of attending classes is the schedule of learning a course during one

semester if a student want to study by himself or herself may be he or she can,t

manage the time and can,t learn whole the course and at the end fail the course.

The second benefit is when you go to a class you will meet lots of other students

who have this course and you contact with them and solve the problems together and

share your solutions and finally you will learn how to communicate with other people

who don,t know and reach a goal in this case you will learn group working and

responsibility in group.

The third thing is becoming fast in learning imagine you want to study all of a

course by yourself without any knowledge about the subject which book do you

study 2 which part2 1hich part is most important 2 what do you do if you have any

questions 2 who will you ask 2 you can just search in internet and lots of books to

find your answer and it takes lots of time but in class you can immediately ask your

questions and get your answer and another bad things will happended is you always

think you have time to study and you don,t know how much it will take to read and

gradually e#ams will arrive and you can,t reach the level of learning you,ve attempt.

"n concolusion " want to say for a fast and effectual learning you need a person who

introduce the course to you and teach the subjects and answering your questions if

you are doubtful about attend a class or not attend it the advantages are more than

disadvantages .
