PRE-WRITING

Causes and effects :

Can’t unleashed someone’s full potential

Limiting talented and potential people

Decrease in numbers of professional and skilful people

People won’t get to explore deeper into the education world

Lowering the chances of employment

They come to signify not only your fate, but your identity; not only your

identity, but your value.

Even if some of them can’t cope with it, it doesn’t harm anyone to allow

them to try. Who knows just by going to a university for a short period

of time, they might get inspired to come up with something that could

change them or people around them.

The more you pay, the better the education. This is only affordable by

the wealthy people and in return they get the highest quality teachings.

( to have a fair education for all )

We are born not to find ourselves but to create and shape ourselves,

restricting and limiting education doesn’t play any role in helping us to

achieve our goals. We should be able to access all the resources we

need in order to maximize our potential. As the saying goes, when

someone give you a lemon, make lemonade. It simply means to think

outside the box or to view things outside the box. But with limitations

and restrictions, you will forever be in the box.

ESSAY :

The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill, and the

willingness to learn is a choice, this is the wise words of Brian Herbert. One of

the most complicated questions for young person nowadays is education. The

question is should university education be restricted to the very best academic

students, rather than being made available to a large proportion of young

people? In my opinion, that choice should be a freedom for people to choose.

Life never stop teaching us new things each day. We might already know how

to handle a situation or make something work, but as we live on, we realize

that there are more than one way to do something and sometimes the

difficulties we once faced had twist a little, making it harder for us to deal than

the previous challenge. So if we are able to go to university to prepare and

equipped ourselves with various knowledge , wouldn’t it help us to be more

prepared in dealing with life’s situations? As the saying goes, one language

sets you in a corridor for life, two languages open every door along the way.

Going to university will definitely give us a better insight in choosing which

weapon to use when we encountered life’s challenges.

One of the effects of restricting university education is the increase in

the loss of inspiration. Steve Jobs dropped out of college; Ellen DeGeneres

dropped out of university after one semester and Mark Zuckerberg dropped

out of Harvard to work full time on Facebook. They didn’t graduate but they

spent some time at their university and were inspired to do what they do

today. You’ll never know who might get inspired to come up with something

that could change them or the people around them. They might even be

someone’s inspiration someday but all that won’t happen with restriction.

Besides that, having restriction means unequal education. It also

wouldn’t motivate people to be better. This is because only the rich can afford

going to university. The more you pay, the better the education, and in return

you get the highest quality teachings. All these can be solved with the

existence of scholarships. Only then, people will strive to be better and they

will always find ways to outsmart each other thus building motivation along the

way.

“Saying someone can’t be sad because someone else may have it

worse is like saying someone can’t be happy because someone else may

have it better”. We are born not to find ourselves but to create and shape

ourselves, restricting and limiting education doesn’t play any role in helping us

to achieve our goals. We should be able to access all the resources we need

in order to maximize our potential. As the saying goes, when someone give

you a lemon, make lemonade. It simply means to think outside the box or to

view things outside the box. But with limitations and restrictions, you will

forever be in the box.

The conclusion is, not everyone have the same learning pace. To

consider that while some opportunities are being created, others are being

cancelled and that while some abilities are being developed, others are being

crippled. Everyone deserves a chance to prove their own capability of

achieving something in life. Do you want to be the person to help them realise

their dream or do you want to be the person who makes them stop believing

in themselves without even letting them try and learn? No babies are born and

are able to walk straight away, we all started learning at some point, and we

are still learning now.
