Installing AI Suite IIAI Suite II is an all-in-one interface that integrates several ASUS utilities and allows you tolaunch and operate these utilities simultaneously.
To install AI Suite II on your computer1. Place the support DVD to the optical drive. The Drivers installation tab appears if your
computer has enabled the Autorun feature.
2. Click Utilities tab > AI Suite II.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Using AI Suite IIAI Suite II automatically starts when you enter the Windows operating system (OS). The AISuite II icon appears in the Windows noti cation area. Click the icon to open the AI Suite IImain menu bar.Click each button to select and launch a utility, to monitor the system, to update themotherboard BIOS, to display the system information, and to customize the settings of AISuite II.
The Auto Tuning button appears only on models with the TurboV EVO function.
The applications in the Tool menu vary with motherboard models and CPUs installed.
The screeshots of AI Suite II in this user manual are for reference only. The actualscreenshots vary with models.

TurboVTurboV allows you to overclock the BCLK frequency, CPU voltage, IMC voltage, and DRAMBus voltage in Windows environment and in real-time without exiting and rebooting the OS.
Refer to the CPU documentation before adjusting CPU voltage settings. Setting a highvoltage may damage the CPU permanently, and setting a low voltage may lead to anunstable system.
For system stability, all changes made in TurboV will not be saved to BIOS settings andwill not be kept on the next system boot. Use the Save Pro le function to save yourcustomized overclocking settings and manually load the pro le after Windows starts.
TurboV EVOASUS TurboV EVO includes TurboV that allows you to manually adjust the CPU frequencyand related voltages such as CPU Level Up that offers automatic and easy overclocking andsystem level up.To launch AI Suite II, click Tool > TurboV EVO on the AI Suite II main menu bar.

Using Advanced ModeClick on the Advanced Mode tab to adjust the advanced voltage settings.
CPU RatioAllows you to manually adjust the CPU ratio.
The rst time you use CPU Ratio , go to AI Tweaker > CPU Power Management in BIOSand set the Turbo Ratio item to [Maximum Turbo Ratio setting in OS] .
1. Click on the CPU Ratio tab.2. Drag the adjustment bar upwards or downwards to the desired value.
3. Click Apply to save the changes made.
Set the CPU Ratio Setting item in BIOS to [Auto] before using the CPU Ratio functionin TurboV. Refer to the BIOS chapter of your motherboard user manual for details.
The CPU Ratio bars show the status of the CPU cores, which vary with your CPUmodel.

Auto TuningASUS TurboV EVO provides you with these two auto-tuning modes for the most exible auto-tuning options.
The overclocking result varies with the CPU model and the system con guration. We recommend that you set up a better thermal environment to prevent overheating
from damaging the motherboard.
Fast Tuning : fast CPU overclocking Extreme Tuning : extreme overclocking for CPU and memory
Using Fast Tuning1. Click Auto Tuning tab > Fast .
2. Read the warning messages and clickStart to start the auto-overclockingprocess.
TurboV automatically overclocks theCPU, saves the BIOS settings, andrestarts the system.
3. After the system restarts, a messageappears indicating that auto-tuning issuccessful. Click OK to exit.

4. If you did not clickStop in the previousstep, TurboV automatically starts furthersystem overclocking and stability test.ClickStop if you want to cancel theoverclocking process.
TurboV automatically adjusts and savesthe BIOS settings and restarts thesystem.

EPUEPU is an energy-processing utility that provides several power-saving modes. When setto the Auto Mode, the system automatically changes its power-saving mode based on thecurrent system condition.
You can also con gure the system settings such as CPU frequency, GPU frequency, vCoreVoltage, and Fan Control to customize a power-saving mode.
Launching EPUTo launch EPU, click Tool > EPU on the AI Suite II main menu bar.
* Select From EPU Installation to show the CO2 that has been reduced since youinstalled EPU.
* Select From the Last Reset to show the total CO2 that has been reduced since youclick the Clear button .

Remote GO!Connect your computer to a wireless network and use Remote GO! to wirelessly streammedia les to DLNA devices. It allows you to remotely control and access your computerusing your mobile device, and easily transfer les between your computer and mobile device.
Remote GO! is supported only on Windows 7.
All devices using the Remote GO! functions must be in the same network.

Using the DLNA Media Hub
1. From the main screen, click DLNA Media Hub.
2. Click to select a device as your receiver.
DLNA Media HubDLNA Media Hub allows you to stream your multimedia les to your DLNA-supported deviceand remotely control playback using your mobile device or your computer.

USB 3.0 BoostASUS USB 3.0 Boost technology supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) andautomatically increases a USB 3.0 devices transfer speed up to 170%.
Launching USB 3.0 BoostTo launch USB 3.0 Boost, click Tool > USB 3.0 Boost on the AI Suite II main menu bar.
Con guring USB 3.0 Boost1. Connect a USB 3.0 device to the USB 3.0 port.
USB 3.0 Boost automatically detects the property of the USB 3.0 device and switchesto Turbo mode or UASP mode (if UASP is supported by the USB 3.0 device).
2. You can manually switch the USB 3.0 mode back to Normal mode at any time.

Use the USB 3.0 devices for high performance. The data transfer speed varies withUSB devices.

Ensure to install the LAN drivers before using this function.
Network iControl is only supported under Windows 7 and can only support theonboard LAN.
Network iControlASUS Network iControl is an intuitive one-stop network control center that makes it easierfor you to manage your network bandwidth and allows you to set, monitor, and schedule thebandwidth priorities for your network programs. It also allows you to automatically connect toa PPPoE for a more convenient online experience.
To launch Network iControl, click Tool > Network iControl from AI Suite II main menu bar.
Using EZ StartEZ Start allows you to quickly activate Network iControl, and set the highest bandwidth
priority for your top currently running program.To use EZ Start:
1. Click the EZ Start tab.
2. Click ON/OFF to enable/disable Network iControl.
By default, Network iControl is set to ON.
When switched off, the Quick Connection , EZ Pro le , and Info are disabled.
You may monitor the bandwidth priority from your desktops taskbar.

Using Quick ConnectionCon guring the PPPoE connection settings
Before enabling the Network iControls Quick Connection functions, you must con gure thePPPoE connection settingsTo con gure the PPPoE settings :
1. Right-click in the taskbar, and select Open Network and Sharing Center .
2. Right-click the PPPoE Connection, and select Properties .
3. Click the Options tab, and deselect Prompt for name and password, certi cate,etc. ClickOK to complete the auto PPPoE connection settings.
You only need to con gure the PPPoE connection settings once.
Obtain the necessary information about your PPPoE connection from your networkprovider.

Con guring the Quick ConnectionTo con gure the auto-PPPoE connection:
1. Click the Quick Connection tab.
2. Tick Automatically connect online anytime option, then select the connection namein the Connection Name dropdown box.
3. Click Apply to enable the PPPoE automatic network connection.
You can also enable the No Delay TCP function to help improve the network performance.

USB BIOS Flashback WizardUSB BIOS Flashback allows you to easily update the BIOS without entering the BIOS oroperating system. Just connect the USB storage device containing the BIOS le to the USBport, press the BIOS Flashback button, and the BIOS is updated automatically.
Scheduling the latest BIOS download1. In the Download Setting eld, tick Schedule (days) and select the number of days for
your download schedule.
2. Click Apply to save the BIOS download schedule. Click Cancel to cancel the changesmade.
Downloading the updated BIOS
Before you start downloading, ensure that you have installed the USB storage device toyour computers USB port.
1. Click Check for New BIOS Update to check for the latest BIOS version.

Sensor RecorderSensor Recorder monitors the changes in the system voltage, temperature, and fan speed ona timeline. The History Record function allows you to designate speci c time spans on recordto keep track of the three system statuses for certain purposes.
Launching Sensor RecorderTo launch Sensor Recorder, click Tool > Sensor Recorder on the AI Suite II main menu bar.
Using Sensor RecorderClick on Voltage/ Temperature/ Fan Speed tabs for the status you want to monitor. Coloredlines will automatically appear on the diagram to indicate the immediate changes in thesystem status.
Using History Record1. Click the History Record tab and adjust the settings on the left for Record Interval
and Record Duration according to need.
2. Click Start Recording to start measuring and recording each sensor.
3. To stop recording, click Recording again.
4. To track the recorded contents, set Type / Date / Select display items to display thehistory details.
ClickMonitor > Sensor on the AI Suite II main menu bar and the system status will appearon the right panel.

ASUS UpdateASUS Update is a utility that allows you to manage, save, and update the motherboard BIOSin Windows environment.
Launching ASUS UpdateTo launch ASUS Update, click Update > ASUS Update on the AI Suite II main menu bar.
Using ASUS Update
Select any of these options to update the BIOS: Update BIOS from Internet
Allows you to download the latest BIOS version from the ASUS website atwww.asus.com and follow the onscreen instructions to update the BIOS.
Download BIOS from Internet
Download the latest BIOS version from the ASUS website at www.asus.com and saveit for later use.
Update BIOS from le
Use the BIOS le that you had downloaded and saved to update the system BIOS.
Save BIOS to le
Save the BIOS le to another le or a USB storage device for later use.
Updating the BIOS poses some risks such as system instability or failure to boot. Beforeupdating the BIOS, ensure that you back up the original BIOS le.

Launching ASUS UpdateTo launch MyLogo2, click Update > MyLogo on the AI Suite II main menu bar.
Using MyLogo
Select the option that you want to use to update your boot logo, click Next and follow theinstructions below.
Change the boot logo of a downloaded BIOS le and update (or do not update) thisBIOS to the motherboard

2. From the Picture File eld, click Browse the image for your boot logo , then clickNext .
