Glenview Public Schools - Henking School Ms. Patty Puetz, Principal

Dear Henking Families, It is hard to believe that winter break is upon us. This past week itself has presented us with a slew of events- teachers and staff continued to create a warm, welcoming and safe environment for students and their families, enjoying the traditions that have made Henking school and its community such a wonderful place. We decorated gingerbread houses, viewed delightful performances, made blankets to donate and of course participated in holiday parties! While we continue to celebrate through tried traditions, the unusual event early this week has provided us with the opportunity to reflect on some of the traditional practices that have been routine for years at Henking, specifically for walker pick-up and the car pick-up lines. In the coming weeks, please expect to receive communication from me on our arrival and dismissal procedures. Lastly, thank you for making my transition to Henking virtually seamless. The Henking community has a really great reputation and every day I am reminded as to why! Please know that I truly appreciate your continual insights, comments, and suggestions. I wish you and your families peace, joy, and the happiest of new years.
