Through its partnership with FAB Academy, generation adidas international is proud to offer qualified players a unique training experience in England.

Founded in 2009, FAB Academy is the vision of Nas Bashir, UEFA Pro Licence Coach, passionate footballer, and advocate of investing in young people. Nas has spent his whole career in the football industry, first as a player then as both a coach and a manager. FAB Academy represents the culmination of his twenty years working with young players and is the perfect environment for his ideals and passion to shine.The academy offers boys and girls a professional learning environment with the aim of developing young people both on and off the pitch.

The FAB Academy provides a three-year, full-time course for boys who can demonstrate significant football talent. The course is open to boys whose talent shines through in their mid–teens, too late to have been picked up by academies from professional clubs and for boys who have been released by professional academies at 15 or 16.The course is offered to those leaving school in Year 11 and able to prove that they have the talent and the potential to play professionally and the desire to develop a career with the football industry, either playing, coaching or in one of the many associated fields such as physiotherapy.

Soccer6-8 practical football sessions per week, with the emphasis of these sessions being on technical, tactical, physical ability and conditioning, as well as educating the scholars in psychological elements of the game.

AccommodationWith accommodation for over one hundred athletes, Bisham Abbey affords us the opportunity to take scholars from all over the UK and overseas. The National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey provides the perfect environment to ensure the scholars develop both on and off the pitch. Within walking distance of the beautiful Thames side town of Marlow, less than an hour from London, Great Britain's most successful Olympic training centre in 2012 provides the perfect setting and facilities for top tier athletes, including our very own scholars.

PhysiotherapyIt is vital that the scholars receive the best attention when it comes to injury prevention and management. Our on site physio, Natalie, is available to ensure that this facility is available to all of our scholars, as and when required.

Gym

Bisham Abbey affords our scholars the opportunity to train in a state of the art fitness suite.

During the course the players will develop their core knowledge and understanding of the game whilst also improving their tactical awareness. All scholars participate in the FA Level 1 and FA Level 2 coaching awards. These awards are recognised internationally by UEFA & FIFA. The qualifications will improve the individualʼs game knowledge and coaching experience, and add significant weight to their curriculum vitae. In year 3, the Scholars also take courses in strength and conditional and multi sports courses. The main goal is to ensure that when they graduate, each of the scholars will be able to immediately enter the workplace as a coach, should they choose to pursue this career option.

Coach Education

EducationThe players spend a minimum of two days per week in the classroom in order to fulfil their educational requirements. The course offered is BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Sport (this is equivalent to 3 A levels). The course is delivered by Charters School ʻAscotʼ who received a Grade 1 ʻoutstandingʼ in their most recent Ofsted Report and has an excellent reputation in developing and delivering education to an extremely high standard.Possibility of enrolling English Language courses to the overseas players that join the program.
