Don’t be fooled into thinking all plant trailers are thesame. Having spent 15 years building commercialvehicle beavertail plant bodies, we have transferredour knowledge in to our Trailers. Each is generally aone-off tailored to customer requirements however wehave strived to offer a basic range of trailers with allyour basic requirements built in.

We use only 4” high tensile I-beam for crossmembers,let into eyelet cutouts in the chassis for ultimatestrength coupled with flexibility. Instead of treatedsoftwood timber for the floor we will use only 50mmsawn Keruing hardwood. This is always fitted to thebeavertail section, since steel-tracked machines willnot safely climb smooth steel slopes.

Ramps on the 13T Trailer are generally sprung, andramps on the 18T Trailer are generally timbered andhydraulic. Push-down rear legs are built in to theramps, however rear hydraulic legs can be fitted.

Weatherproof lockable storage lockers come asstandard, as do LED lights and an LED rear flashingbeacon. Mudguard/spray suppression can be added,as too can drop-down sides, bucket storage framesand side impact rails, along with removable rear balewedges for conversion to a flat bed trailer.

Heavy Plant Low Loader

Our new range of hydraulic lowering Low Loaders arethe perfect trailer for the transportation of wheeledand tracked medium plant and agricultural machinery.

All our trailers incorporate a hydraulic mechanism toraise and lower the axle, with jury struts incorporated.Mudguards and lights are integral as is hydraulicbraking.

We build our trailers with a full plant body stylechannel side rave incorporating chain bars and ropehooks. Lashing rings can be incorporated into boththe side raves and floor, and ramps can be suppliedas either lift off or fixed pivot on the body. Floors comeas standard with Durbar steel, however timber can befitted on request.

Our Waste Bucket Grabsare built to last anddesigned to perform inthe waste re-handlingindustry.

All our bucketsare built fromheavy gaugesteel (6mm forthe WG1 and8mm for the WG2/3and 4) and have heavyduty toe plates fitted (20mm for the WG1 and 25mmfor the WG2/3 and 4).

Bolt-on reversible toe plates come as standard andthe main pivots have bushes fitted. The grab top caneither be one or two-piece construction and armouredhoses, ram protection, spill guards and check valvescan be fitted on request.

Push Off Grabs

Hall Engineering havethe capacity to add apush-off facility to allour Grabs including ourtypes 'C' to 'G'. This willwork with eitherconventional or Hardoxtine Grabs and is ideal for buck raking, feeder filling,shed filling applications. These can work off asequence valve to ensure the push-off does not workunless the grab is open.

Grain Pusher

Our heavy duty Grain Pushers are a'must have' implement for every grain producer.

Used on a suitable telescopic handler or loadingshovel, the piling of grain within the grain store isimproved and speeded up immensely. With a range oflengths available to suit every need, and the option toretro-fit or remove intermediate pieces of the frame,these Pushers will suit a variety of users andapplications.

We build our Grain Pushers out of round sectionswherever possible to prevent trapping and spilling ofgrain to further improveuseage. All Grain Pusherscome complete withbrackets. Rubber or plasticwear strip available extra.

As you may be aware, one of our main competitorshas lost the 'X Form' range of products from theirportfolio and are trying to replace the void in theirrange with hastily prepared alternatives. We feel thatthe time is ripe to increase awareness of our currentrange of Buckets, with their inherent strengths anddesign features, along with improvements we havemade through customer demand, that truly set usahead of the competition.

All our large Loader/Handler Buckets of type C, D,DD and E have been subject to carefully consideredimprovements that not only look attractive, but alsoincrease strength, durability and usability. Startingfrom the bottom, we now fit Boron heat-treated 420Brinell hardness toe plates. These are 150x20mmsection in our C and D Range, and 200x25mmsection on our DD and E Range. Our side cutters arenow of a one-piece profiled construction, made fromAbrazo alloy steel 400 Brinell heat-treated plate.Our side cutters remain flush with the outside of thebucket for a cleaner dig, and to facilitate shovellingalong a wall.

We notice the omission on some competitors’buckets of the digging straps used to attach themounting brackets to the bucket. Quite simply thesespread the load and stress transmitted through thebucket from the machine, and the omission, asproven through experience, causes stress cracks inthe bucket shell. With some users preferring a rolledback bucket, we can now offer a rolled insert which,coupled with the square folded shell. increasesbucket strength. Other features are highlighted here.

Hall Engineeringhave the ability tobuild bespoke SnowPlough attachmentson to any tractor. Webuild a mountingframe utilising thetractor’s frontmountings and linkthis to a Snow Plough Headstock via pivoting lift arms.

A single-acting hydraulic ram lifts the plough up whennot in use, and lowers on to the pre-set castors usingthe float function on the tractor’s hydraulics. Thissystem is ultimately the best for Snow Ploughattachment as it keeps the Plough mounted close tothe tractor for increased manoeuvrability whilstremoving the need for costly front linkage assemblies.

The Plough can be quickly attached and removed andcan work on any tractor with a single hydraulic spool.

Moving 3 Point Linkage-mounted machinery can be bothtime consuming and dangerous, anddifficult for a sole operator. Dealer yards and busyworkshops require constant hitching and un-hitchingwhich wastes a large amount of productive time.

By simply fitting the top linkage pin, our 3 PointLinkage Mover simply hooks under the top link pin,rests the bottom links against wooden non-slip pads,and the handler does the rest. Based on our hugely popularLS2 26 Tonne Log Splitter, builton to a full FAST TOW trailerchassis complete withsuspension, lights, jack andnumber plate holder. Thepower pack utilises an 11hpLombardini diesel engine withelectric start, plus hand startemergency backup. We fitdual speed pumps with apressure diverter. This givesa fast cycle time (14 seconds)but does not labour the enginewhen under full load, reducingfuel consumption, revs,noise and wear and tearon the engine, whilstboosting productivity.

The Splitter can be usedeither horizontally orvertically, with a hydraulicpivoting mechanism. Thisis vital due to the hugeweight of the splitter andram. When used vertically the splitting table is at waistheight for much easier working so you are notconstantly bent down. This is perfect when splittinglarge rings.

We can fit either a two-way or four-way splitting headdepending on your needs.

Our Big Bag Lifters offera well made and costeffective means ofmoving 600 and 1,000kgbags for any purpose.We only use 41/2” heavygauge round tubes withfully domed ends, unlikemany manufacturers who choose to use square boxsection which do not ideally pick up round bag loops.

A wedge stop ensures the bags will easily slip on tothe tubes but will not inadvertently slip off should theoperator tip forwards. The tube centres are matchedto the bags to avoid sway when moving.
