Letters, Numerals and Lines• Upper case letters should be used except for conventional refs. e.g. mm, kg, kPa• Only one style of character should be used throughout a drawing• Vertical characters should be used for titles, drawing and reference numbers• Underlining of letters should be avoided • All characters on a drawing should be kept clear of lines
