Cooler
TJ8300 / TJ8500General Description
The cooler is located inside the collecting table.
The cooler’s function is to cool the water that flows through the UV lamp head.
The ambient temperature should be 15°C - 35°C.
The water circulates through the UV lamp head and the cooler.
The water flow pressure is 2.5 - 3.5 bar.
Within the cooler, the distilled water flows from the water container, through the radiator, which cools it, and then is pumped towards the UV lamp head.

Cooler
TJ8300 / TJ8500General description (Cont.)
The fan in the cooler removes the heat.
The water temperature must be below 70°C. Otherwise, the lamp will be turned off.

Cooler
TJ8300 / TJ8500Water Container (Cont.)
The water container contains 50 liters of distilled water with 0.5% of corrosion inhibitor and 1 unit of microtreat.
The water circulates through the cooler and the UV lamp head.
The purpose of the water (float) sensor is to alert the system if the water level is low.
If the water reaches the low (threshold) level, the system turns off the lamp power.

TJ8300 / TJ8500Radiators
The purpose of the radiators is to cool down the warm water that returns from the UV lamp head.
The fan removes the heat from the cooler unit.

TJ8300 / TJ8500Water Pump (Cont.)
The pump circulates the water through the UV lamp head and the container, via the two radiators.
The thermal switch is set to 70°C and protects the system against high temperatures. If the temperature of the inlet water (into the radiators) reaches 70°C, the system turns off the UV lamp.
The water flow pressure is 2.5 - 3.5 bar.

TJ8300 / TJ8500Water Tubes
Two water tubes are connected between the UV lamp head and the cooler unit.
Red mark:
The tube carries heated water from the UV lamp head to the cooler unit.
Blue mark:
The tube carries cold water from the cooler unit to the UV lamp head.
