1. STEM program providers, educators, employers communities and government working together to maximise impact;
2. Young people interested in STEM, doing suitable subjects and considering STEM careers;
3. STEM-literate communities support young people’s career aspirations;
4. A healthy economy with growing STEM-based employment and innovative industry.

Through the provision of meaningful, hands-on experiences we aim to challenge more young people to make a difference in the worldby choosing a career in science and engineering.

Our vision is to challenge every Australian school student to create a future in science and engineering.

Who?
In 2015 there were a total of 136 event days in 81 locations around Australia.829 schools participated assisted by 2,895 volunteers. Our events involved 29,093 people + another 1,587 at Super Challenge and National Final.
Where?
What have we achieved?The Challenge program:
1. Changes perceptions about a career in STEM;
2. Raises awareness of STEM in the community;
3. Increases participation rates in HSC science and mathematics;
4. Provides a vehicle for the local community to
be involved in an innovative program that
promotes STEM;
