OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CHESS UNIONUNDER THE AUSPICES OF

KARPOVS CHESS ACADEMY IN ALBENA RESORT

ISCU, in association with Bulgarian chess federation, tourist company lbena our PLC and under the auspices of Anatolii Karpovs Chess Academy in Albena Resort invite young chess players, born in 2001 2007 to take part in Open championship ISCU from 31.07 (arrival) till 11.08. (departure) 2015, in summer resort Albena (Bulgaria).

Competition is held for definition of participants of championship of the world among young boys and girls (Greece, October 24th November 5th 2015) by ISCU.

Age of the participants:Tournament for ages till 78 (dates of birth till 01.01.2007 and younger)Tournament for ages till 910 (dates of birth till 01.01.2005 and younger)Tournament for ages till 1112 (dates of birth till 01.01.2003 and younger)Tournament for ages till 1314 (dates of birth till 01.01.2001 and younger)

Competition order:Tournaments are held by rules FIDE separately for boys and girls. In case girls in one of age groups is less than 10, girls unite with boys in the age group with separate offset to define the winners.

Tournaments are held on the Swiss system in 9 rounds (at 10 participants in age group the tournament is held on circular system).

Control of time: 90 minutes on 40 courses plus 30 minutes until the end of party with addition of 30 seconds after each course, since the first course.

Tournament fee for participation in a tournament:80 Euros per person, are paid on a place during registration

Definition of winners and rewarding:Final places in all tournaments are determined by the sum of the gathered points, and in case of their equality on additional coefficients (in decreasing order of the importance): 1) to Buchholz's coefficient; 2) to progress coefficient; 3) to result of personal meeting; 4) to the truncated Buchholz's coefficient without one worst result, without two worst results.

Awards:The participants who took 1 3 places are awarded with cups, medals and diplomas. All participants will receive ISCU certificates signed by the Honourable president of ISCU A.E. Karpova.Each winner of a tournament in age categories (4 boys and 4 girls) will receive the monetary prize of 625 euros for ensuring free accommodation in official hotel is awarded during the championship of the world among young men and girls (Greece, Chalkidiki, 24.10.05.11.2015).
