Christian Sullivan ­ My Story    

Life really is a Journey isn’t it ?   I never thought I’d be sharing a lot of my life story via this type of platform.    Why am I doing it ?  I’m doing it to encourage everyday people to seek more, learn more, step out of their Comfort zone more and Chase the life of your Dreams and the Life they Deserve.  Here’s my Story,   I was Born in Waratah, a suburb of Newcastle, Australia at the Mater Hospital in 1978. For only a few years I lived in Queensland due to the nature of my Dad’s work, but in 1983 I moved back to Newcastle after my grand father passed away and my family moved into a house he got built. I  guess it was about 5 years before I got to really love the ocean, as I lived only 300m from the Sand. Looking back now it was really a blessing and helped me alot in Life.  I developed a lot of great friends through BodyBoarding and Surfing and we really pushed the limits of what could be done in the Ocean.  

Pretty much I Lived for Surfing, School didn’t really interest me sure I had great friends but for some reason I didn’t like learning. There were a few interests like Film making, Cooking and Wood work though.   Thank God I’ve changed now, I love to Learn everyday single day and also love to connect with People.  In School I was Shy, unconfident and really was just there and that was it. In hindsight I wish I would of done a lot more, but of course there’s no turning back time. After I left School in Year 10 I wanted to Snowboard and work in the Snowfields, I had a two friends I surfed with who worked down there, so I had a idea of how to do it.  In 1997 I did I my first Season after Snowboarding a handful of days for about 3 years beforehand. I ended up doing about 6 Seasons of riding Snowboarding in New Zealand, Japan, Perisher and Thredbo. Except for Japan I worked at all of them, the people I met and times I had I can still remember today and I’d recommend it to anyone.     It was the time of my life 100%.

I had a big problem with it, after Snowboarding and travelling I settled in Newcastle and got right into Filming and Mountain Biking, I also Filmed earlier in the Snow aswell.  Having a interest in Design I ended up getting into the Sign Industry and for many years worked in Sign manufacturing, Machine Operating, Sign installs and more.  But the whole Self Image issue was still there…..and in the very end of 2007 my whole world came crashing down. I had Depression and it was really BAD, I was suicidal at times, didn’t go to work for a month and relied on my Parents, Brother and Ex ­ Partner for help. I thought I was going insane, I sat day in day out with my head in my hands for at least a week. I got on various meds after some time they seemed to work.    Now this was from years and years of a Self image issue, that I keep pushing to the back of my mind. To put it Bluntly I didn’t like the colour of my Skin, I’m fair skined and that wasn’t what I wanted to look like or to be like, as I loved being out doors daily. Some days I felt cheated like why me ? There was a point where I was scared of being in the Sun, sounds crazy hey ?   Well it was and I’m very greatful those feelings didn’t last to long.   It took months to get back on track but I still remember to this day how hard it was to be back at work, people asking what was wrong, people asking where have you been etc…  Fact was I didn’t want to talk about it “AT ALL” !  As I’ve realised now that was only making it worse, not talking to people about my situation. I later realised talking to people helps so much and of course I highly recommend speaking to a professional first. 

It tooks me years to realise it was OCD related, after having depression 3 more times I really had a lot of time to put the pieces together and realise what had happened and why.       Depression is the hardest thing I’ve never had to go through, it feels like you can’t do anything, your stuck in life, you feel alone, you feel like not living…After going through it more than once you get to know it and get to know what to do to get through it quicker and easier if that’s possible.  It was hard on my Family, my partner and of course my whole mental state and health. On average, 1 in 6 people – 1 in 5 women and 1 in 8 men – will experience depression at some stage of their lives in Australia. It’s a major issue and shouldn’t be hidden away or not talked about.     What does Depression teach you ?    It tort me that I can be anyone I want, do anything I want to do and push through challenges in Life. But most of all “NEVER QUIT” on what I wanted to do in my Life. So from early 2008 till now has been a roller coaster, I’ve learnt so so much just in the last year let alone 7 years. Having a daughter who is nearly 4 years old is the best thing to ever happen to me.   Meeting a mentor who lives his life on his terms and is teaching me to do the same has been a massive opportunity and something I’m very blessed to have and I’m very Greatful for. Having a Vision, being Determined, Motivated and a REAL hunger to help people is something I really never even thought of even 2 years ago.  

I used to watch people in work places so unhappy and whinge and whine about this and that and their not taking responsibility for there life. It really made me think, if your not happy change it !  It’s exactly what Tony Robbins teaches aswell, (amung a million other things) I’ve watched dozens of videos from Robbins I can’t get enough.    

 Above is a  great quote by Bob Proctor. Fact: Bob is 81 and still travels the Globe teaching.    This journey has opened my mind to so much more from reading many books, listening to audios from Million Dollar earners, watching video and webinars of Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor and John Assarah. It has also changed my whole view on life, how the mind works and how to achieve my Dream Life. I’m changing my whole mindset day by day, and I will continue to learn every single day to better myself to better other peoples lives.  

 I love holding knowledge, teaching what I’ve learned and connecting with people who are willing to do what ever it takes to Succeed.   Breaking away from the norm is something I really love aswell, I always knew I was different. I love doing things different and not  following the “PACK” like 98% of People do. My mentor Marc Frank Montoya is actually the same aswell, when he went into business in a certain way he copped flak. But he didn’t care, he saw his vision and dream already and he knew how to get there.  These days I block  the “Nay  Sayers” and the “Negative Ones” because I’ve learnt they just hold anyone back. Having a “WHY” was another massive positive step in my Life and of course it’s Kirana my daughter.

       After learning what your  “WHY” is the How will come about, for me having a why that is my Child makes it easier to commit to the outcome 

and Vision 100%    

So this brings me up to early 2015 and where I’m at now.  Being in a Online Business is frankly not only the Future of making a Income, it’s happening BIG time right now all around the World. From 24 year old Surfers making thousands while they Surf insane waves, to Baby Boomers who didn’t even know how to use Skype, making thousands all Online.  (Disclaimer  ­ I’m not saying you will make any money)     But what is the real the main reason there are people from very varied backgrounds choose to step out of there comfort zone and seek new Opportunities ? 

 Freedom !  When it really comes down to it People Want Freedom NOT Money. You can always go out and earn more Money but you can never get TIME back ever.  The young years with your kids those times are golden and you never want to miss out on those. But many do, trading TIME for money doing 8 ­ 10 hour days 5 ­ 6 Days a week if not more…  So what’s a better option?   

Well there’s many but the option I took was,    Using a proven System and Leveraging the Internet.  This is how everyday people can work from Home or while travelling and work the hours that suit them.This System isn’t new by any means but thousands use this type of Opportunity to create a dream lifestyle that some think are just for the “LUCKY” or “RICH”.    In reality that couldn’t be further from the truth, anyone can make this happen, anyone can design there Life how they want.   I’m greatful I get to do it via using my Passion for over 20 + years. Using this I get to share the Best Action Sports Films, Product and Photography all while connecting with like minded people around the Globe.   All while doing it on the best platform available in 2015, the Kalatu Blog. A Blog is your Home on the Internet, your online Real Estate, go to any great Website for a product or service and they will have a Blog.  As you would know Social Media is huge these days and this powerful Blog ties into that in a great way, that allows you share all your great content very quickly.           I want to thank you for taking the time to read this E­Book and I wish you all the success in the future,  Christian Sullivan
