EnergyLab Mexico – Solar – Desalination – Natural GasIn 2013 the Mexico government announced reforms in the energy laws and this meant natural gas pipe lines are now being built along the USA/Mexico boarder one of which runs through the Caborca land to Hermosillo along the railway. The rail company Ferromex have said they will allow a new rail spur for loading and of loading to our site and we can also use their land for water piping.

In 2013 Arizona Government announced it wanted to investigate desalination water from Mexico and did not have a land development partner in Sonora. GEL contacted Arizona government and now has been included in a report and we have been asked to join the Arizona water cluster to promote desalination.

In 2013 GEL decided there was enough evidence for the regional need for a desalination plant we began a search for a desal partner. Contacts in Jalisco Government made contact with Hyflux on a visit to Singapore

In 2014 GEL signed an exclusive agreement to work with Solar century to develop some of the land for solar and seek PPA off-takers for the energy.
