Belt Dryer Design Basis:The Metso Kuvo belt dryer is a low-temperature dryer which is designed toremove water efficiently by evaporatingmoisture from wet biomass, like bark, woodchips, sawdust, bagasse etc. The dryer is ableto utilize various low-temperature heatsources; waste heat, low-pressure steam, hotwater, or hot air – no primary energy isneeded.
