WHY ENERGY CONSERVATION
ENERGY SAVED IS PURE PROFIT TO BSNL ENERGY SAVED CAN BE USED TO MEET THE
DEMAND OF PRIORITY SECTOR ENERGY SAVED MAKES THIS WORLD A
BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LIVE 1UNIT OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY SAVED = 10
UNIT OF FUEL LESS GLOBAL WARMING BETTER HEALTH, COMFORT & PRODUCTIVITY

OBJECTIVEOBJECTIVE
Exploring Energy Saving Opportunities in BSNL and Disseminating information to all Employees
VISIONVISION
Promoting Efficient use of Electrical Energy and its Conservation
Energy Conservation ActEnergy Conservation Act
Energy Conservation Act 2001 provides for Energy Auditing and Energy Conservation of Designated Consumers.
The Act provides grace period of 5 years, I.e., up to 1st Mar, 2007, for creation of infrastructure and thereafter there will be penalties for non-introduction of energy conservation measures.
