ENERGIKICKEN FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2015
As a school tradition, PYP 5 is going to participate in Energikicken, which is a
football tournament for 5th graders in Gothenburg. The tournament is
organized by IFK Göteborg and Göteborgs Energi. This year, over 150 5th grade classes from all over Gothenburg will participate.
When: The first three matches will be played on Monday the 4th of May. The winner of each group will play the “A Finals” on Friday the 8th of May, and
the second in each group will play the “B finals” on Thursday the 7th of May.
We will have two teams playing this year and the kids from all three classes
will be divided into two teams.

Where: Heden artificial grass
Every game is 2 x 12 minutes. The boys play the first 12 minutes and the girls the last 12 minutes. The score will be added. Anyone who wants to
play will get to play at least 2 games. We will divide the playing time
amongst the players.
On Monday the 4th of May, we will start to play at Heden at 8:45 so we
will meet by the changing rooms at Heden at 8:10 at the latest to have time to get change and warm up. Please check the map below for directions.
If you take the tram, you should get off at Valand. We will be done at about
11:30 and will be back in time for bamba.
Parents are more than welcome to come along to watch and cheer.

EQUIPMENT
The students need to bring shoes suitable for football, shorts,
long socks and if you have shin-guards. ISGR will provide
football shirts.
RULES
Energikicken wants to promote Fair Play and therefore they
have a “Fair Play prize” of 10,000 kr.
We follow the rules of football
We play fair
We respect the referee’s decision
We cheer on our own team and respect the other team
We greet the opponents before the game and thank them
after the game
We are playing to have fun
We do not use any kind of bad language
If any bad language is used, the player will be taken off the
field.
