Bipolar
On the eve of Easter, Red , aka Santa, is a washed-up celebrity. Addicted to Christmas, he continues
to drink and party, despite his falling opinion polls. The recent (and financially unsuccessful) divorce
from his wife Mrs Clause has forced Red to relocate from his North Pole mansion, to a South Pole
shack.
Sharing the elf-infested hovel is Max, the Easter Bunny. Max, a trigger-happy religious fanatic, is
determined to make a convert out of Red, prepare for Easter and settle a personal vendetta with
the Bi lby at the same time. However when Max is forced to leave Red on his own for the night, Red
returns to his old, self-indulgent habits.
Like the stripes on a candy cane, Red's drinking and depression begins to spi ral out of control. Alone,
intoxicated and somewhat soiled, Red is now confronted with the ugly truth; Chri stmas is definitely
over.

The Redemption of Dionysus
This story is derived from the director's personal experiences and is deeply rooted in both Indigenous
and Greek mytholog ical philosophies. The main protagonist Dion drives this complex film; he is fearful
and lost and is mourning the death of his father. There are many subtle themes and clever visual
inferences embedded within this thematically driven short film. The overriding message is pertinent
to a global audience: it's the concept-of 'doing the right th ing' and 'choosing your path in the face of
your fears .'
The film illustrates Dion's individual thought and self-destruction and delves deeper into his
consciousness by using mythological creatures such as Pan, Prometheus and Dionysus (who denote
Western phi losophy) as tools for commenting on society's global scale destruction of the natural
world ... By the completion of the film Dion has to face his fears and come to terms with reality.
