HAPPY OR SAD ENDING

Happy Ending: like a fairy tale, it leaves the

reader with no feeling of sadness.

That was the best ride of my life. I just couldn’t

wait to get back in line!

Sad Ending: Sometimes the story ends sadly,

perhaps it is the reality of the situation

It was a sad and scary day that I will always

be scarred by its memory.

SURPRISE ENDING

Clues lead to the ending of the story. It is

your way of throwing the reader for a

curve ball!

Would you believe what I did next…I

hopped back in line for one more ride!

Boy was I nuts!

Summary Ending This is where you point out all of the highlights

from your story in sequential order to tie together any loose ends for the reader.

Well, after taking a risk and hopping on the scary ride, I sure learned a lesson to wait until I am a just right size in order to avoid any dangers like slipping off the ride’s seat. That sure was a moment I will never forget with my adventurous dad!
