Alan MartinI am reminded by a few that many of the new subscribers may not be aware of my 1971 vision of the night and how itrelates to the history of the US from the 1950s into the next century.A short recounting is this:I was given a vision of the night that depicted the last 12 presidents of the US. Each administration was represented by ahouse on a street (called Washington Street incidentally). These houses (starting with the house representingEisenhower) proceed through till two presidents from now... (2 after Clinton). I was given this in 71, when Nixon waspresident. The sixth house past Nixon (Nixon Ford Carter Reagan-Bush-CLINTON) was center stage of the dream. Thishouse was shrouded in deep dark clouds. The clouds came right down and almost touched the roof. The lights were on inthe house, and the back door drew special attention. To the north of the house was an arch of 6 stars. The sixth star fellto earth. Two large tunnels opened in the thick dark clouds through which I could also see the sun turned black and themoon to blood. These images are symbolic of the fall of a leader (6th star from Nixon fell) the fall of the nation (the sunblack) and the judgement of the church (red moon). There are other elements of the vision of the night that can be foundon the web site.I have really been holding by breath for some time now. Based on this vision of the night, I (in 91-92) said that Clintonwould be re-elected for a second term and would not finish his second term. Up till last week (with an approval rate of62%) it was hard to believe that he would fall. Yet the events of the last week seem to be pointing us toward thatpossibility.Why would the Lord tell us this 27 years ago? (the earliest record of the vision I can find is in a journal I have from 1973).It will be 27 years ago in February that I received this. It was actually in response to a prayer. I knew that difficult timeswere coming and was taught that we were to be raptured out of the trouble. But something in my spirit said no. Myprayer was out of that troubled spirit. In response, this dream was telling me that we would be here, that great changeswould take place when we see this president fall, and that we should not be troubled! He can save us and keep us saferapture or no.You see, right after the fall of the sixth star, I turned to the east fully expecting to see the Lord coming in the sky, whichis the rapture theory that I had been taught and had prayed about. I did not know what the word of wisdom was then, andthis dream really had a profound effect on my spiritual life. It was by far the most powerful spiritual experience in my life. Iwalked around in a daze for days!What to look for:(1.) Gore will become president.-GREAT CONFUSION!!!(2.) Great problems for the country and believers.(3.) An outpouring in response to persecution.(4.) Historic events in the Mideast.(5.) A great destruction in the US. I wish I could be more specific. In the dream I saw a man who looks a great deal likeGore who presided over the destruction. I am really still up in the air about this. For many many years I thought thisfigure in the dream was the Antichrist (it is still that way on the web page). It still may be. Some have written to me andstated very strongly that they believe the person I present on the page is Gore. It could be. There is a resemblance.(6.) This demonstrates to me the hunger for prophetic insight in a world full of questions.During the first six months of 1998 there will be two dominant forces that will effect our life in America as never before. The was I saw will be waged on five fronts:the family, the Middle East, our government, the entertainment industry and false teachers. I remember a couple of years ago when we had a lot ofdays in northern California when all it did was rain, rain, rain. Churches will see a resurgence of God seeking individuals coming to thechurch to pray and ask forgiveness when no one else is around. The covering was not that high and to either side the walls were much closerthan I had thought. In the center was the classic ring and simple bleachers were on either side, the kind you put up andtear down as you travel.As I approached the ring I noticed the lights dim and the music picked up as I prepared to see ''the show'' begin.With a fan fare that reminded me of a certain other arena two performers came into the center of the ring arms raised tothe anticipated ''applause'' of the crowd. One was male, the other female.The male wore a tight fitting suit like costume in bright blue with sequins. His hair was sculptured and lifted into apompadour. The makeup he wore under the lights hid both age and the signs of consumptive disease. Like her counterpart the built up hair and heavy makeup were as much illusion as possibly camouflage, to createan image presentable. On cuethe act appeared and took it's prescribed position within the ring. First came the trained Shetland ponies followed by thedogs of variable sizes, breeds, and ages. Like a precision instrument the act ran smoothly as each animal exhibited thetrick it learned in the proper sequence. Each trick planned and orchestrated for optimum effect. As the human performersplayed to the crowd and feigned the required emotions for each trick the episodes of ''surprise'', ''humor'', and even ''anger''were performed on cue.As trick followed trick, each task appeared to be harder and less certain, yet even the ''mistakes'' were orchestrated. Andlike all good theater the act ended. And like theater was created to be the act was repeated over and over.Then without warning I heard THE WIND blow within the tent as the act played on. They were huge,ravenous, full of rage and bent on destruction. Their teeth were bared and claw unsheathed. The prayers of the saintswent up around the city and reached the throne of God. And He waged war on our behalf.Next, I saw one bear as a bear skin rug in a den with a man's feet propped over its' hide resting. On the wall of the sameden, I saw the other bear's head mounted on the wall like a hunter's trophy. The victory was the Lords!What I understood is that these two bears represented two well known bears - the first was a bear market, and thesecond the Russian bear.I felt that these were two Judgments that would come against the United States with such pounding speed that it wouldstrike terror into the heart of anyone in their path. ......When the saints began to pray, the Lord showed Himself strong on our behalf and arose in our defense as a dreadchampion.These Judgments are real and are coming but the good news for the children of the Lord is that we do not have to fear. The first animal was a weasel - in our commonspeech, a person who is sneaky, saying one thing and doing another. The pale flag represented thelast portion of his term in office and symbolized that it would be "hell on earth".
