○ To develop a substitute boot camp plan for implementation in the 2020-2021 school year.

Purpose StatementTo empower and enable teachers to successfully transition from a daily, nine-period, in-person instructional model to a blended and flexible model of instruction, where students will be learning in-person and remotely in a block schedule.

sPurpose StatementTo plan for the safe and efficient logistical operations of the district for the 2020-21 school year. The plans should provide flexibility based on the different scenarios to address the following areas:

➢ Transportation - Safe transport to and from school, impact of different schedules; use of transportation for extracurricular and field trips

➢ Food Service - Safe serving and sale of food and socially distant eating

➢ Cleaning protocols - Improved cleaning protocols that meet current guidelines

➢ Social distancing - Core academic classes, electives, extracurricular program

The purpose of this committee is to create and implement a plan to support the physical health needs of students and staff as we begin the next school year in whatever form it may take so that they may attend in-person learning safely and securely. ➢ First Meeting: Thursday, May 21

In our committee work, we will research and prepare for the following:○ Standards for:

■ Personal protective equipment such as masks,■ Social distancing, ■ Enhanced cleaning,■ Screening and refusing entry to students and staff■ Isolating students who become symptomatic at school■ Process for tracking illness

○ Maintaining/complying with yearly state mandates, such as physical examinations and proof for vaccination

○ Ensuring that the district is prepared if it is asked to facilitate mass testing or vaccination

○ Aligning physical health and wellness practices with an altered schedule

○ Implementing professional development related to physical health and wellness practices
