The Oil of Gladness

[KJV] Psalms 45:7

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

[KJV] Hebrews 1:9

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Anointed by GodThe anointing abideth in us

[KJV] 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Conditions of this flowof Gladness & Joy

You love righteousness

You hate iniquity

You to obey & please God

You hate & turn your back on sin

How easy is this?Let Jesus be your life force & this will be part of you!

The real problem isThat you do not HATE your wickedness

You excuse it.

You think that your life is your own

You have not the foggiest idea what this next verse means in everyday terms

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV(19) What? know ye not that your

body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

(20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You belong to God

The things you do in your life belong to God

You are not your own

Do you need to mourn?[KJV] Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give

unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
