• Reson Navisound 110 – singlebeam echosounder
• ELAC SEA BEAM 1185 - MULTIBEAM SONAR

ENC Production Process
• Cross sections every 50m (single beam)
• dGPS provided by national system CROPOS or reference stations every 5 km along the river
• Software tools used:
• AutoCAD / PDS 2000 for post processing
• 7C’s tools for ENC production
• DXF Converter
• ENC Designer
• ENC Optimizer
• ENC Analyzer

Conclusion
• Depth information definitely brings added value to the ENCs
• Single beam vs. Multi beam
• Multi beam definitely recommended for the critical sections
• Single beam usable for the non critical sections
• Full coverage with the depth data???
