This guide provides the steps to ensure Flash is enabled on your computer. Ability to do so will be dependent on your agencies settings and user restrictions. Safari Before you start it is a good idea to check the version of Safari running on your Mac. To display the version number, choose Safari and then About Safari. OS X 10.11, macOS 10,12 and later 1. Open Safari and choose Safari Preferences 2. Click the Websites tab and scroll down to the Plug-ins section. Locate the Adobe Flash Player entry. Enable Adobe flash player - MacThis quick guide contains information to enable Flash in:

NSW Procurement learning modules and simulations require Adobe Flash Player, sometimes known as Shockwave, to display correctly in your browser window. This guide provides the steps to ensure Flash is enabled on your computer. Ability to do so will be dependent on your agencies settings and user restrictions.

SafariBefore you start it is a good idea to check the version of Safari running on your Mac. To display the version number, choose Safari and then About Safari.

OS X 10.11, macOS 10,12 and later1. Open Safari and choose Safari Preferences

2. Click the Websites tab and scroll down to the Plug-ins section. Locate the Adobe Flash Player entry.

3. Click the check-box to enable Flash Player.

4. For the When visiting other websites setting, select the option of your choosing: Ask, Off, or On.

5. Exit Preferences after you finish configuring Flash Player.

OS X 10.101. Open Safari and choose Safari Preferences

2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Plug-in Settings.

3. Select Adobe Flash Player.

4. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose On, and then click Done.

5. For each website appearing in Currently Open Websites, choose On in the menu on the

right, then select Done.

OS X 10.8 and 10.91. Open Safari and choose Safari Preferences

2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Manage Website Settings.

3. Select Adobe Flash Player. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose Allow.

Google ChromeThese instructions are version dependant. The following instructions are for version 73. Open ProcurePoint in a chrome browser. Click on the padlock in the URL address bar.

Change the Flash setting from ‘Ask’ to ‘Allow’.

Refresh the page.

The following instructions are for versions prior to 73.

Open Google Chrome and from the top right select the ellipse and the Settings option and then the Manage add-ons option.

Scroll to the Privacy section and select the Contents settings…. Button.

Scroll to the Falsh section and ensure that the Allow sites to run Flash is set.

Flash VersionUse the following steps to determine your Flash instillation status, versions number and update requirements. Ability to do so will be dependent on your agency’s settings and user restrictions.

Open Google Chrome and in the URL type the follow address: chrome://components/

Scroll to the Adobe Flash Player information which displays the version number and update status. Select the Check for update button.

The updated version details will be displayed.
