Tufts MAKE Updates
This [past] Friday, we met to further discuss the go-kart project and to refine the project focus/idea. Interestingly enough, through our group discussions, we ultimately decided to shift the project entirely. We will be building a motorized skateboard from scratch, complete with FSRs (force sensors) and perhaps other sensors on the board to give an intuitive set of controls to the steering and other fun features of the board.
[...] We also realized that the skateboard could be electronically controlled by the user's feet, allowing us to learn about user interfaces, sensors, and arduino/raspberry pi.So for this week, we will have another Friday meeting where we will finalize the supply list (we are looking to have it done by next weekend so that we can order parts).
[...] P.S. We started a Google Drive folder for the project, and if you're interested in having access to the folder, be sure to shoot me an email!
