WFT drive systemThe heart of WFT’s transport systems is the drive tech-nology developed by WFT. These highly loadable drives are the core of each vehicle. By now, WFT has three drive variants available.

►Environmentally friendly and strongThe specially developed electric drive with integrated recovery of braking energy in combination with the battery package designed for the area of application gu-arantees utterly silent and emission-free operation.

►Unrestricted mobilityThe specially developed drive system allows steering the vehicles in all di-rections. Even traverse travel and tur-ning on the spot are not a problem. Thus, the space requirements for in-ternal logistics and production can be reduced considerably.

►Easy steering, precise travelThe system is steered by way of a mobile control panel with a joystick using cable or radio connection.

M.I.T. vehiclesM.I.T. stands for “modular individual transport system”. Depending on the application, the WFT drive system is used to configure a highly innovative, process-optimized transport system.

►Large dimensions, heavy loadsThese are no problem for “M.I.T. WFT”. The high load capacity of the vehicles is desig-ned in accordance with the requirements.

►Customized capacityThe operating times are tailored to the customer’s needs through the battery capa-city and the possible charge cycles.

►AutomationOptional features, such as the sensor-based guidance system and positioning allow precise moving to target po-sitions in the logistics and process chain.

A robot is installed on the vehicle. This gives the robot another axis. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a navigation system in order to allow automatic mode operation. The automatic guidance system can be integrated into all WFT vehicles.

The perfect solution for transporting:

The load capacity of the vehicles is adapted to the in-tended purpose. Optimal transport and stable positio-ning even of particularly large and heavy components is realized using special product-specific mountings.

With special equipment, driving is also possible in coupled operation. Several vehicles are thereby cont-rolled synchronously like a single vehicle.
