BARON MUNCHAUSEN SYNOPSIS

Baron Munchausen, a great traveller known far and wide for his incredible stories, is judged by a

people’s jury. He is accused of being a faker and is condemned to live on the Island of Liars

together with other fantasy characters like Simbad, Gulliver, Don Quixote…

Four of his admirers, present at the trial, come out in his defense narrating some of the adventures

that made him famous: Like when he escaped from the ferocious lion on his horse Bucefal; his

experiences on the battle field; his extravagant stay on the Moon; how he managed to escape

from the belly of a Whale or the ingenuity he showed when hav ing to flatter a depraved Sultan...

This is how the four comedians defended this tender character, demonstrating his numerous

virtues in front of the tribunal; like how with the strength of his imagination, astuteness and

friendship, the Baron managed to escape from the most complicated situations.

Baron Munchausen, the most witless character in the history of fantasy literature, actually existed

in the 18th century. We know that he was born in the Germany town of Hanover in 1720; he had

a career in the military and fought in several battles against Belgium. Using the text by the authors

E. M. Raspe and August Gottfried Burger, La Baldufa brings this show to the stage using various

techniques: actors, flat puppets, transparencies and other props that combined with the play of

light make this version of Baron Munchausen a fantastic journey through the imagination. Not

only they do show us the truth of stories, but they also help us to see that each of us carries a little

Munchausen inside.

We can all travel and live great adventures with the help of our imagination.

EL BARÓN DE MUNCHAUSEN FICHA TÉCNICA STANDARRD

Nota preliminar: El Barón de Munchausen es un espectáculo pensado para ser representado en

un escenario de teatro. Aunque si se cumplen los requerimientos de oscuridad i de dimensiones

mínimas que necesita la función (un recinto cerrado o un escenario al aire libre) se podría

representar igualmente el espectáculo. La necesidad de oscuridad total viene dada por una de

las escenas del espectáculo en la que se combinan técnicas de proyección de imágenes con

otras.

La que sigue, corresponde a la ficha técnica estándar (con 32 canales de regulación por luz)

que garantizan mostrar el espectáculo en unas condiciones ideales. A partir de aquí, la

compañía puede aprovechar y optimizar la ficha técnica del espacio aplicándola al

espectáculo en beneficio de este o también puede aceptar otras propuestas a la baja, siempre

que el programador sea consciente y acepte las repercusiones artísticas que el recorte pueda

suponer. En caso de proponer una ficha técnica menor a la estándar, el personal y las

dimensiones mínimas del espacio no se podrán reducir.

ILUMINACIÓN Focos: • 29 PC d’1 kW completos (Todos con v isera y portafiltros) • 4 recortes 24º-40º d’1 kW (o similar) • 2 panoramas con palas de 1000 W • 1 estroboscópico (lo traerá la compañía) Control: • 32 canales de dimmer de 2kW • Mesa semi-computeritzada con monitor Otros: • Luz de guardia suficiente para hombros y pasillo de detrás del telón de fondo. • Tres enchufes directos tipo Schuco de 220V-10A al escenario (1 al hombro

derecho i 2 a la parte de detrás, delante del telón de fondo) • Un enchufe directo a la primera barra interior del escenario para la electrificación

del estroboscópico. • Un trípode o en su defecto una torre de calle o de danza • Luz de sala regulada - a ser posible controlada por mesa de luces • Material suficiente para la electrificación de TODOS los focos dispuestos en el

plano de luces adjunto, así como de los diferentes aparatos que constan en esta ficha técnica.

Nota: La distribución de los equipamientos se hará según el plano de luces adjunto.

Importante: Las comandas de infraestructuras de luces que aporta el teatro nombradas anteriormente, van ligadas a las disposiciones y número de líneas descritas en el plano de luces adjunto.

SONIDO PA: • Suficiente y adecuada a las características de la sala Control: • Mesa de sonido con un mínimo de 8 canales mono Reproducción: • 2 Reproductores de Mini-Disk (los traerá la cia) Monitores:

• En 2 puntos de emisión de 300W. mínimo (la Cía. decidirá la ubicación en llegar al espacio)

Intercomunicación: • Intercom de 2 estaciones (1 cabina + 1 escenario) o en el su defecto

2 walkie-talkies con auricular. Microfonía: • 4 micrófonos inalámbricos (los traerá la cía) Conexiones: • Patch al escenario de un mínimo de 5 conexiones CÀNON HEMBRA.

Uno de los canales se utilizará para conectar el estroboscopio. Otros: • Material suficiente para la electrificación y conexión del material de

sonido relacionado anteriormente.

PROYECCIÓN DE IMAGENES • El espectáculo requiere un retro-proyector de imágenes de 400W que traerá la compañía,

irá situado justo delante del telón de fondo. Uno de los dos enchufes directos situados en esta posición serv irá para la electrificación del mismo.

ESPAI I MAQUINÀRIA

• Dimensiones mínimas de: 8m de ancho x 7m de fondo x 4m de altura a los que tenemos que

sumar un pasillo por detrás del telón de fondo. • La cía colocará sobre el escenario una moqueta negra mate, con marcas que faciliten el

mov imiento de la escenografía durante el espectáculo. Esta se tiene que poder clavar con grapas al suelo del escenario. Si no es posible el responsable de la sala tiene que facilitar cinta adhesiva negra y gruesa, que la cía se compromete a retirar después de la actuación.

• Cámara negra en disposición de calles de ancho regular, garantiendo el aforamiento

absoluto. • 1 escalera de acceso al escenario des de platea. Importantísimo porque la cía la utilizará

diversas veces durante el espectáculo. Importante: Las comandas de maquinaria que aporta el teatro, nombradas anteriormente, van

supeditadas a la disposición i implantación descritas en el plano adjunto.

PERSONAL (SEGUN LAS NECESIDADES ESPECIFICADAS EN EL PLAN DE TRABAJO) • 2 personas para la carga y la descarga (puede ser el mismo personal que para el montaje)

durante 30 minutos a la llegada de la compañía al teatro y 30 minutos al finalizar el desmontaje.

• 2 eléctricos durante el montaje. Uno de ellos tiene que conocer perfectamente la tabla de

luces. Uno de ellos o los dos por turnos, realizaran el enfoque a partir de las indicaciones del jefe técnico de la cía.

• 1 técnico de sonido durante el montaje, la función y el desmontaje (tiene que conocer

todos los equipos de sonido).

CAMERINOS • 1 Camerino con capacidad para 5 personas equipado con WC, sillas, percheros, duchas

con agua caliente, mínimo de un enchufe tipo Schuco 220 V. y mínimo de un espejo.

OTROS • Agua mineral embasada suficiente para el montaje, función y desmontaje.

• 6 sillas para poner utillaje del espectáculo y complementos de vestuario para cambios rápidos.

La COMPANYIA DE COMEDIANTS LA BALDUFA was created in Lleida in 1996.

The main aims of the company are, firstly, to offer shows of high artistic quality. Secondly, our

endeavour to create shows that are multidisciplinary using the utmost in theatrical resources.

Thirdly our wish to offer shows that are suitable for all audiences but mainly for children. Finally our

aim to create shows that are ideologically committed to the values of solidarity, tolerance and

respect.

The creative members of La Baldufa are Emiliano Pardo, Enric Blasi and Carles Pijuan.
