Certification

• All required reports must be certified under 40 CFR Subpart M (not K) including those generated by EMTS

• All reports must be certified either through DCFuels application via CDX or through the alternative filing procedure

• Quarterly Reports CANNOT be submitted via EMTS

Report Availability

• EMTS reports available within 10 business days of the end of the quarter

– EMTS RFS2 RIN Transaction Report

– EMTS RFS2 RIN Generation Report

• EMTS report information available within 10 business days of the end of the quarter

– EMTS RFS2 Activity Reports - Assigned & Separated RINs

– Use for columns 17-21 on the RFS0101: RFS2 RIN Activity Report

Transaction Error Report

• Used to identify errors on EMTS RIN Transaction and Generation reports

• Will be available within 1 business day of a submitter entering in all errors and pressing the “submit” button

• Report all transaction errors within ten business days of the due date for quarterly reports

• Submit by the quarterly reporting deadline (two months after the end of the quarter)

Step 2: After all errors have been entered, a registered company submittermust click the “Submit” button

* Note: Once the “Submit” button has been clicked, a party may not enter additional errors or regenerate this report in a givenquarter

Step 3: EMTS will generate the report within 1 business day for users to download and submit with other quarterly reports

Summary

• EMTS will generate RFS2 reports and RFS2 reporting information within 10 business days of the end of the quarter

• Parties are required to certify all reports to EPA, including those generated by EMTS, within two months of the end of the quarter

• Parties are required to certify all reports through DCFuels or the alternative filing procedure
