I got sickAfter a complete hysterectomy, my health tanked. The sicker I became, the more depressed I got. I was so depressed and hopeless I didn’t want to live anymore.

I sought helpThrough a recommendation of a friend, I finally got the help I needed. The fix was simple, but was so hard to find. I thought “with my access to health resources this was harder than it should have been. If this happened to me, what is happening to women all over the world?”

I got well, and then... I got mad At that moment, I decided I would dedicate my life to making sure no other woman would suffer as I had. That is how EmpowHER was born. It is the resource I wish I had when I was sick, and I feel blessed that it has already helped millions of women all over the world learn to advocate for their own health, and to support each other.
