Prizes

Total of 200,000 EUR for 23 winners • 1st prize: 50,000 EUR• 2nd prize: 30,000 EUR• 3rd prize: 20,000 EUR• 5,000 EUR will be awarded to 20 runners up• Community Prize: hardware to the value of 3,000 Euro

The winners and innovations will further receive promotion on an international scale with global public relations activities ensuring international visibility. They will become members of an international Network that offers hands-on support, valuable know-how, helpful insights and connections.

• A worldwide network of change-makers: social entrepreneurs and social inventors

Entries will be evaluated according to:

• Potential of project to help solve basic supply problems

• Technical feasibility with regard to resources at hand, functionality and reliability in local conditions

• (Social) Business concept regarding job creation and replicability

• Financial sustainability potential

• Environmental performance

a. Expert Evaluation• AT-Verband, an association that stands for advanced socially and

• Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship (FASE), agency that supports selected social enterprises in raising growth capital, www.fa-se.eu social impact of the entries

b. International Jury• A jury of renowned figures from developmental organizations, from the field of

social investment, academic and political realms will select the top three winners
