Using PI Tools for Production Management

• The Project team is working directly with 14 work groups and more than 600 users



Conclusion

We have been able to:

• Create work groups of EDP engineers for performance analysis in a geographical independent way avoiding man power duplication.

• Increase our ability to detect, in real time, malfunctions or non optimized operational conditions.

• Decommission old and dedicated systems with important cost of maintenance.

• Provide real-time information management from a single and validated source.

• Decrease the start-up time of new power plant operational teams and help the staff mobility among power plants.

• Share information among EDP collaborators.

• Access on line operational data from any point of the network.
