OverviewEmployer Tools in Employer Center:

•Job Posting Manager: Within your job posting manager, you can add, edit, or deactivate your job postings. You can also view responses and statistics.

• Candidate Search Manager: From your candidate search manager you can add, edit, or deactivate your searches, or view your matches.

• User Settings: In your user settings you can setup your company profile page, a corporate snapshot for your job postings, and send candidates customizable e-mails.

• Corporate Admin: Here you can setup sub-accounts for other divisions of your company. Create usernames and passwords, allocate postings and searches, and view or administer each individual account.

* Please note: Permissions may vary depending on your account type and posting package.*

Employer Center

1. Go to http://www.employmentguide.com.

2. Click on “Employer Home” (upper-right corner).

3. Enter your User Name and Password. This information should have been emailed to you when you opened your account.

4. Click log-in or enter on your keyboard.

Active Postings: lists the number of all active positions on the site

Available Postings: all postings allowed within an account

Job Views: shows the total number of views for all postings that have been posted to the website

Job Inquiries: show the total number of jobseekers who have an incomplete online application or a jobseeker that has saved the position to complete at a later time

Responses: lists the total number of applications from all active postings within the account

Active Searches: lists the number of all active searches within the account

Available Searches: shows all searches available within an account

E-mail Preferences: provides the option to change contact email address for all account update emails

Post A Job

1. Click on Job Posting Manager (located on the right side of the page).

2. Add A Posting.

3. Choose either Build a Job Posting or Cut and Paste a Job Posting

4. Fill in desired information while scrolling down page

10. Check posting for errors and close page

11. Click Continue button to submit posting

12. Upon entering in all info correctly, you will return to the Job Posting Manager screen

click on Candidate Search Manager.

2. Click Search Candidates.

3. Select the length of the search.

4. Name your search.

5. Select your metro area or a specific zip code and the distance surrounding that zip code.

6. Pick Industry and Category.

7. Select your desired date range.

8. At this point, you can choose Skip Screening or Screen Candidates (to narrow down candidates by choosing specific criteria).

You can narrow the number of qualified candidates by screening. Simply select the criteria from the series of general and industry questions.

After selecting criteria, click “Calculate Matches” to see the number of matches.

Select the method in which you would like to receive your response and then click submit

Candidate names, salaries, previous work history, etc. will show. Click on Candidate’s name to view full profile.

Recruiter Contact Information: Create and edit your contact information for pre-populating your job postings.
