Solid SurfaceFor a seamless look, think solid surface. This easy-

to-maintain synthetic product can be molded to fit any

design specification. Solid surfaces are essentially

waterproof, so they actually promote a more sanitary

kitchen. Just wash with a general cleaner to remove

grime.

Solid surface countertops are also durable. While a

cutting board should always be used, minor cuts and

scratches can be buffed out with a Scotch-Brite® pad.

Due to its solid nature and composition, solid surface

countertops are able to absorb more force where other

materials might crack.

COUNTERTOPS

GraniteGranite countertops are among the hottest

high-end options for the kitchen and bathroom,

mostly due to the look. The natural appeal of

stone is a timeless asthetic. Granite is resistant

to chipping, scratching and cracking. While a hot

pad should always be used, granite counters are

also heat-resistant.

Granite counters must be properly sealed, but

when sealed according to the manufacturer’s

guidelines, granite countertops will resist staining

and bacteria.
