Step 1: Brainstorming –Think it!

Come up with some good ideas for your project.

This can be done as a class or as a smaller group.

You could use ideas based on class content, community needs, student interest, or current events

Step 2: Teambuilding –Assemble your Team!

Teams can be assembled from people with similar interests.

Teams might be assembled first, and mutual interests discovered later

Teambuilding activates can be used to “break the ice”.Assessments can be done to discover member’s strengths and what they can contribute.

Step 3: Research –Gather some info!

Look up some information on your topic to help flesh out the direction of your project.

If doing a community service project, assess the needs for local organizations.
